Obamacare vs. The Affordable Care Act

After giving all my love, devotion and trust for more than four years to this president, I sadly find that I made a very HUGE mistake!

a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

Good to hear from you, despite the news.

My son is in a spot. He works for social security. Right now he's off without pay. Don't know how long the shut down will last, just wished it was over with!

Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank, wrote on Tuesday about the 11th-hour debate in Congress to avert the shutdown. Noting a shameful statement by Speaker John Boehner, Milbank wrote: “Democrats howled about ‘extortion’ and ‘hostage taking,’ which Boehner seemed to confirm when he came to the floor and offered: ‘All the Senate has to do is say ‘yes,’ and the government is funded tomorrow.’ It was the legislative equivalent of saying, ‘Give me the money and nobody gets hurt.’ ”

I'm glad to see you're back. I was starting to get legitimately worried.

EDIT: And you're gone again? Hey, look, we may not get on all the time, but the thought that you might have crossed the border into Juarez one time too many doesn't give me happy thoughts.

Obviously I don't know why you're suddenly unhappy about President Obama. It's certainly NOT his fault that the Republicans are utterly unreasonable.

Something about the new healthcare program bothers you? What is it?

Ironically, yesterday, some two million Americans contacted the agencies setting up healthcare insurance -- literally hours after the Republicans failed to extort ridiculous changes from the Administration. THAT outpouring of interest was the public's early AND positive reaction to the Obama initiative! And I guarantee that public support will continue to grow -- and we'll get a decent medical insurance system despite the Tea Parties' miserable last-ditch hostility.

And I trust American voters next year will punish the Republicans for their irresponsibility.

I have seen a number of comedians do this same bit. A democracy needs an informed public to work... and we have people who are proud to be ignorant.

I don't see any connection between your statement and the video. Why are you suddenly anti-Obama?
