BULLY Mitt Romney’s prep school classmates recall pranks, but also troubling incidents

Tagg Romney Jokes About Taking A 'Swing' At Obama After Heated Debate

Tagg said: "But you know you can't do that because, well first because there's a lot of Secret Service between you and him,...

So then, had not the oodles of Secret Service not been between Tagg and the President, then he would have taken the swing, right?!
Wow! Tagg, you sure are brave; you disgusting, violent, privileged 42 year OLD jerk! What a manly example you are to young boys!!

Joke or no joke, Tagg Romney's threat to President Obama sure sound pretty close to treason to me.

Vietnam draft dodger Mitt Romney talks tough when it comes to Iran, China and wanting a much bigger military. So much so, that I can't help thinking of him and his 5 sons when I read this quote:

"A politician is a fellow who will lay down your life for his country."

That bully just might get in the White House. It's really too close to call. All the polls tell different races as to who is out in front. But close it will be....

Yes, it is going to be close, and if Mitt wins, I believe it will be the first time in history that a draft dodger becomes president of the U.S.A.

I feel in my bones that President Obama will win again.

I can't stand Romney. Hope he won't win, but it's a pretty good chance it will happen.

Yikes...a president in magic underwear in the White House....

Just to play Devil's advocate Bill Clinton and George W. (cushy air national guard gig)also dodged the draft. They were "fortunate sons" like Mitt.

The President will take Ohio and no one will win this election without Ohio. It's just electoral math. It's going to be a close one though.

You are so right about my draft dodger goof.

I'm sure glad you and I were right about how this election would turn out.

Do you feel there's any hope for our country, or for that matter, the world? I personally, am running out of hope. I know you don't believe in God, but I'm seeing so many of the signs written in Revelations.

The election came down to math and the change in population. Women voters edge out men by about 3%. Going hardline against women's issues is stupid and then to have idiots like Akin and Mourdock with their rape comments out there just killed it. Then you have a very active latino voting population who felt burned by the attitudes the GOP have had on the immigration issues. Whether it's about illegal immigration or the dream act the hispanic citizens know what the "dog whistles" sound like and the rhetoric was there. Then you had Romney's remarks about how he should've been born Mexican etc. So they hurt themselves in Colorado especially.
Independents didn't break for Romney either.
The polls I trusted were spot on. I trusted the metrics and methodology they used. This election was about trusting quantifiable methods over the "gut feelings" of water carrying right-wing pundits who got every damned thing wrong.
They can keep on listening to the Tea Party and Rush Limbaugh and lose national elections by trying to appeal to the shrinking white male base only or they can start to figure out how not piss off the other voters they need on their side to win election. Even Bush knew he needed to peel off enough of the latino vote to win.
If they don't pick Chris Christie in 2016 they'll lose for sure. He's better than every single GOP whackjob that was running for 2012 combined.
As for your worries..you have to be more specific. I'm not particularly worried about much other than the environment and ignorance being taught in schools over science. I trust real scientists.

I am confused about where I stand politically. I voted for Obama because he truly is a kind hearted man. I admire him more than anyone else because of his coolness and super intelligence. I know he could have done so much for this country, but it was so obvious that the Republican Party’s was not concerned about the struggling working middle class, but only that the president fail. I find the majority to be pompous liars, spoiled rotten, immature, compassionless creeps.

I despise Limbaugh and Trump, whose mouth reminds me of the butt hole of a cat! Akin and Murdock’s comments upset me more than can be imagined.

I’m the last person who should say this, but I’ve found most of the GOP to lack a great deal of intelligence.

I like Chris Christie.

Remember the scene in the movie "Howards End" (with Anthony Hopkins) where the son believes that it is perfectly acceptable for him to give some what-for to a man of a lower class? He felt that it was his right and he was entitled.

That's Tagg.

What's really interesting to me is that the lowest class person is the one who wants to fight you to make you say you are wrong about something despite all evidence to the contrary.

I remember the scene perfectly.

I'm babbled by those who just can't see how wrong they are, despite, as you said, all evidence to the contrary.
Thank you, symian.

I was wondering when another one of these would come up. And as much as I want to tear in, I've only got one question for you.

What has happened in the last four years that makes you say, "I want some more of that"? It can't be job creation. It's certainly not national unity. Foreign policy's been a bust. Fiscal policy has been out of control. I'm hard pressed to think of anything he's done that he could either repeat (killing bin Laden) or that I'd want him to repeat (anything else) that would make him a good candidate for a second term.

I'm giving the rebuttal to you. You know it's my job to check facts. it's what I get paid to do. I'm not interested in a debate right now.

Job creation facts: Of the fallout in jobs lost (as expected from the missteps and egregious ineptitude of the previous administration) as of October those are back with a net gain. Unemployment is below 8%, the same level it was when Ronald Reagan gave his "Morning in America" speech in 1984. GDP is higher than it was under Bush as of this morning there's 2% gain there. In fact we've had 13 quarters of positive growth in the economy due to improved consumer spending and the improved housing market. It's a slow recovery but durable. I'd take 4 years of that.

National unity? There is no national unity because the Seante minority leader of the GOP in Congress made a pledge in 2010 that it was the duty of the GOP senate to make Obama's term one term only. They failed on the outsourcing jobs bill(tax incentives to companies who keep jobs in the US), the veteran's jobs bill (as a veteran that should piss you off)because 40 GOP Senators made sure they blocked the vote on it. Don't get me started on how unproductive they've been. This is the least productive Congress in almost 100 years. They've passed no more than 180 public laws and the things they've blocked "violence against women act". The Tea party contingent that expends all its energy on "repeal, repeal, repeal, repeal" has shown little or no interest in national unity.
Lets' talk about Obama's fiscal policy and then compare what Romney left Massachusetts to clean up. He left his state in such a mess he rarely runs as a former governor and rather as a CEO of a vulture capitalist firm ( a firm that's sending Illinois jobs to China). Obama follows the Simpson-Bowles model and has already suggested a Corporate tax cut of 28% below the current 35% (anything that says otherwise is a lie), the problem they have is that he's eliminating the loopholes that keep them from paying the rate accorded to them, for example General Electric's billion dollar rebate windfall. Romney's 7 trillion dollar tax cut comes with a mysterious plan that can't mathematically come true without shifting burden back on middle class. He plans to cut taxes on wealthy and raise defense by 2.1 trillion (and the defense department never requested that increase).

Foreign Policy has been a huge success for the president, aside from the echo chamber failures from the GOP pundits and Romney inthat second debate to pin everything on the Libya embassy, nevermind Condoleeza Rice herself stating this morning that she thinks Hillary Clinton and the President could not have expected the attacks as they happened. Or let's not forget (aside from Romney's ridiculous statement about the navy that was based on 1917 and not the fact that we have more ships than in 2007 under Bush) didn't he pretty much agree with the President's policies and echo them all as his own as well at that 3rd debate? Yeah his foreign policy is such a bust that Laura Ingraham (another GOP echo chamber cheerleader)who lamented and wondered whose idea in Romney's camp it was to allow the third debate to be about foreign policy. Even Fox news polls give Obama the higher marks on this.

What a smarmy piece of shit you are. You've got talking points from some website or another, and you're trying to tell me I haven't seen what I've seen, and what has happened hasn't really happened, or some shit. You overlook two years of Obama's first term to say something someone said halfway through is the cause for national disunity. You look at one number out of many economic indicators; do you know why Obama didn't use the job statistics number during his campaign? Here's a hint, there were a lot of underlying statistics that very clearly offset that one. And saying foreign policy has been a huge success for Obama is like saying the stock market surged under Herbert Hoover. Hiding the fact that Iranian planes tried to shoot down one of our drones for a week -- oh, it was "classified" for that week, I forgot.

I spent three years unemployed under YOUR president's regime. Not Bush's. YOURS. Now, with his healthcare legislation set to run rampant, my job is again in jeopardy. Does that matter to sub-humans like you? Not at all. You've just won the class elections, as far as you're concerned, and you're going to rub it in everyone's faces, consequences be damned.

Well, insect. You can't blame Bush forever. When the multi-trillion dollar deficits catch up -- and they will catch up -- and the GDP fails to grow -- and with Obama's policies, it'll be stagnant at best -- who will you blame then? Oh, right, Petreus. Or someone else. Never the Grand High Leader.

Try some comprehension. I pointed out how I get my facts, but here's the irony of your statement. You're trying to chide me with this strawman argument about liberal media talking points which is rich and extremely ironic since the BIGGEST failure of the right was their inability to parse information outside of their right-wing media bubble. Breitbart, Rasmussen, Fox news were not just wrong they were SPECTACULARLY wrong. When Nate Silver prognosticated this election down to states with precision on a daily basis he was attacked as being a shill. He was accused of using skewed polls that leaned to far to the left etc. (nevermind that he also included rasmussen, newsmax and gravis marketing polls). They even referred to Dean Chambers unskewedpolls.com -- which turned out to be another panacea for the right-wing alternate reality and anything but unskewed.

You know right now there are two huge cheerleaders from the right-wing who finally caved in to the idea that just maybe they do need to adjust how the rich pay their taxes. Ben Stein and Bill Kristol both swallowed their stubborn pride and they reviewed the facts..they also went over that suppressed report by the Congressional Research Service and agreed that the taxes on the rich were too low, in light of the loopholes. You want to talk about the deficit and dismiss the fact that the Congressional leaders and the president both have to realize that fiscal cliff has to be dealt with. They're meeting to take care of this. Simpson-Bowles commission has a more delineated plan that President agrees with and is closest thing to bi-partisan consensus. This is public record stuff. Try to go through these things before accusing me of living in a liberal media bubble. If I got all my facts through these so called websites then they should be easy to disprove and discount with facts and stats.
There is a difference between me basking in the shadenfreude of watching the pundits of the right being hoist by their own petards, but I am not so cold-hearted that I wish anyone here any harm. You level that at me but I never once wished that on you. You are the one letting loose with the insults to the point you are becoming unhinged. Really? Insect? Sub-human? Who writes your posts, Stan Lee? I'm chalking it up to a lot of butt-hurt so i won't hold it against you.
I hope you do keep your job and any benefits you have, I have no interest in seeing anyone lose their employment. I think CEOs and lots of corporate types make these threats about jobs as an "I told you so" but it's funny how Papa John can do a 2 million pizza giveaway for promotion but 8 million dollars will somehow hurt him beyond measure. Massachusetts didn't seem to have that problem with employment when their version went into effect years ago.

Romney did not run with an overt plan of any kind to reduce the deficit or the debt. He was vague and it was extremely telling considering his running mate was a big data and policy wonk. You want to know the simplest aspect of making a strong economy? Give the tax cuts to the middle class and keep them low because they do spend their money domestically and the more they spend the more demand they put on the producers thus creating more jobs and more spenders. That's the difference between billions of dollars being spent and billions of dollars being sent to the Cayman Islands. (it would sound like so much hyperbole if it weren't so true..considering George W's recent appearance there).
And I stand by what I said about foreign policy unless you think Reagan's was catastrophic after those 214 Marines were killed in Beirut as well. To this day nobody really paid for that crime. It sucks that we have this shit happen and questions need to be answered but don't try to convince me this is a sign that the President failed on the whole. Our standing in the international community (that's what foreign policy means) is way better than it has been in a very long time. And yes it's plunging in the middle east because of the drone strikes, etc. But Romney only said he'd do it the same way in the debates. There was no divergent ideas on foreign policy from that side. I don't agree with anythign that hurts civilians anywhere in the world. I don't stand blindly with anyone.

Giving the rebuttal, but not replying so I'd see it. Hm.

Started to reply, but I'm sure you've got more talking points from HuffPo, Media Matters, et al telling you that 200,000 net jobs, a drone that nearly got shot down, and suddenly a key witness to the Libyan affair "suddenly" gets taken down before he testifies.

Sure, let's blame it on Bush. Seig Heil der Fuhrer Obama.

By passing the Congress and passing bills by Presidential proclamation that will allow the federal government to arrest and imprison people that it thinks are a threat to the regime and keep them in prison without trial of any type for an endless amount of time...

Refusing to protect American citizens in a foreign land that are there on US Government business, then lying through their teeth to prevent the American public from finding the truth about the actions they failed to perform to protect said citizens.

Attempting to bankrupt the country by spending massive amounts of money that the country does not have and running the debt up higher than any three presidents have done before him.

Financially support those who openly oppose the government of the US, and decree that all infidels (US Citizens) must die and that the first duty is to wipe Israel from the face of the earth.

Secretly scheme with enemies of the US to reduce the defense capabilities of the country.

Has decreed that he plans to bankrupt legal US industries and then give billions of dollars to company's that are all either in financial distress or already bankrupt.

and over and over blatantly lied to the American public over and over about the condition of the Government, because he is just that an habitual liar.

Now, just who is the real TRAITOR?

ASK YOURSELF, if the Ambassador, his Aide or either of the two SEALS who were MURDERED by Obama's friends were your Father, Brother, Son or any relation or friend... would you still love the Son of a BITCH who repeatedly refused to send help and watched for hours on live feed from two drones as the attack took place?

Oh yes I am ok, Sick at the results but I am ok.. The problem with this election is it was stolen... The majority of voting machines used in the US were built by a Soros company... There were voting irregularities i every state, There were regions in every state that Romney did not get a single vote, in Chicago and other Ill. districts there were more votes that registered voters, Thousands of registered voters in every state that were in fact dead, but voted anyway. The two greatest number of Obama voters were the wretched lazy who want to continue to get food stamps and welfare without ever putting into the system, and yes those are the 47% that pay no taxes that everyone jumped on to Romney about and the young college students, who have absolutely no idea what the hell is really going on but they like Obama cause they now he wants to allow gay marrage and allow women to kill babies. Hhat the dumb asses dont realize that Obama cannot do a frigging thing about gay marriage it is a STATE decision as outlined in the Article 10 of the Bill of Rights... but anyway they will learn as Obama uses them as cannon fodder. Its pitiful how many people cannot recognize a liar when he is lying to their face...

the people did not speak they voted over and ober.. Like precinct 95 in Port St. Lucie Florida that has 7 registered voters, and there were 900 people who showed up to vote. The elections committee accepted their votes. This is just one of the voter abuses that was registered all over he country. I see Obama being ejected from office about half way through his term for various criminal offenses. It will be the leftists and the libtards that do it when they realize that he lied to them as well promising everything and giving them nothing.
