Walker talks to the man posing as Koch as though they're the best of buddies.
Koch: You’re the first domino - Walker: Yep. This is our moment

"During a prank phone call in which he believed he was talking to billionaire philanthropist David Koch, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker admitted that state authorities had “thought about” using troublemakers to infiltrate the crowds demonstrating against his effort to eliminate collective bargaining rights, proving once again that the use of agent provocateurs to discredit legitimate protesters is a common political ploy."

Funded by the Koch (pronounced ‘Coke’) Brothers–Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker

As the people yell, "shame, shame..." the RATS walk away with their tails between their legs!

My question:
1. Should there be an investigation on Walker? If so, will it ever happen?
2. Are the rights and privileges for the common working class quickly becoming history?

Yes. Probably not.

2. Are the rights and privileges for the common working class quickly becoming history?

Yes. I think we're in a period of sustained assaults on the rights of ordinary working people.

faith...
I'm starting to wonder if they're trying to starve us to death, or force us into Welfare so they can own us.

What's most frightening of all for me is, that I'm starting to lose faith in my country. I understand now what the Bible meant with, "I can guarantee again that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God."

Re: faith...
To be fair, this has been going on for about 30 years now, but all of a sudden it's occurring at an accelerated and hyper-aggressive pace.

Workers of the World Unite
or you will lose all your rights while the bankers and "philanthropists" walk off with them, lock, stock and smoking barrel.

The more it changes, the more it stays the same. Alas. M

Re: Workers of the World Unite
I believe it's too late. The bankers and philanthopists have already accomplished their evil deeds. How can we the working class compete for our rights against the filthy rich? Just look what Walker did, and he's going to get away with it.

It isn't "We the people..." but "We the puppets..."

1. Yes, but I doubt it.
2. I can't comment on that... We still have good rights over here...

The people elected Walker. It is the UNIONS whose power would be reduced that are yelling "shame.

What, exactly, is going to be the point of the an investigation? Please state exactly what law might have been broken by Walker.

Most unions do not do anything for "the common working man". They do things for the union first, and the members of the union a distant second. Everyone else doesn't even rate.

As for your second question: Not anymore than usual.

Yes, they elected him, thanks to the Coke brothers, but not to destroy their lives.

I cannot say anything negative about unions, because my union protects us from the abuse of employers. We are treated as human-beings. Believe me.

He ran on this forum. You do know that this only effects employees of the STATE right? It does not effect most unions, just the public employee unions.

Your union may be great and doing what it is supposed to do, but many, if not most, have turned into corrupt money and politics machines that do things that are bad for the business and the employees in the long run.

Curiosity
I think your presentation is valid and well-written. I did notice an odd juxtaposition at the end -- a "come-on" for MoveOn.ORG and then one for the NRA!! That HAS to be the only time someone has put those guys TOGETHER -- strange bedfellows, indeed!

You must be very broad-minded, choosing your causes one by one. That's no criticism at all, just remarking how unusual you are...

And I love your blog name and evident joi de vivre!

Re: Curiosity
Gosh, sweetie, I just read your Korea memoirs (saw them in your tags list and was curious how you almost died there!). You have the most interesting experiences, and now I understand the NRA connection, I think. I also heard your voice presentation from several years ago -- do I detect a Latina accent? It's very cute!

Re: Curiosity
Sorry it took me this long to reply, but I had a hard time finding the link to answer your question about how I almost died in Korea.

Some of my older LJ friends know why I am so much for our right to bear arms. I'll have to someday make a post about it for my newer LJ friends.

Yes, Latina accent. I'm happy to say that since then, I've gotten rid of most of it. If I continue practicing, I'll soon sound like a southern belle! heee
