I have already lost 3 people, whom I cared about, to Cancer. There's a cousin and 2 friends who have cancer. There are 2 acquaintances in my block that have cancer. My brother's friend has a sister and she has cancer and is quickly losing her battle against this horrible disease. Both ex-wives of a cousin have cancer.
My mom says she's never seen so many people coming down with cancer. Why is there more cancer than ever? What's giving us cancer?
Now someone who is the most important person in my life has cancer. I never realized just how precious this person was, I never realized until this past February. I am devastated.
To those of you who are reading this, go for your yearly check-up. Men, don't be embarrassed to go for a colon and prostrate examination. Girls, go for your yearly Pap smear and mammograms. Cancer is quickly becoming as common as the "common cold." Going for your yearly check-up is so IMPORTANT.
Educate yourselves and try to donate money so that maybe someday, cancer can be wiped off the face of the earth.
Eat lots of tomatoes, broccoli, and parsley and start cooking with olive oil or Canola oil. Stay away from fats and junk food.
