Picture album of my 11 dogs & 17 or 20 someting cats - PAGE TWO
This is Oscar, and he can't handle the cold weather, so I bought him this little doggy coat that he loves!
All of my animals have different personalities. Oscar is a loner who seems to always be meditating.
When my two brothers lost their homes in California, due to the economy, each had to rent an apartment where dogs weren't permitted, so I had no choice but to welcome Oscar, and Jerry to live at my house. I've had them for about 2 years now, and when my brothers have come for the holidays, they are as happy as can be to see them, but quickly come and sit by me, and follow me everywhere I go. I've already grown to love these two dogs, and already told my brothers that they can never take their dogs back, because I know they'll go into a deep depression without me and Grandpa. Here they are never alone, since Grandpa is here when I go to work. They love going outside to play with the rest of the kids (dogs), and play. When they're inside, they all sit on my lap and all around me when I watch TV, or when I'm on my computer. All of them also sleep with me, including my cats. I cover myself with a thin blanked during the winter, since I’m kept warm by all of them sleeping on top and all around me. There have been many times where I open my eyes in the morning, only to find a butt hole too close to my face! :o)
This is Jerry who is a French Bulldog, who belonged to my other brother from California. Jerry is extremely jealous and a bully. Whenever my other little dogs come near me, he pushes them off. One time, he attacked my Chihuahua Panchito and almost tore his ear off. I had to rush him to my vet because I couldn't stop the blood from flowing. The vet was able to save his hear, but it looks very strange now. Ever since, I'm a constant wreak that he won't attack Panchito or my other little dogs. Grandpa and I do everything in our power to keep attacks from happening again. Jerry cannot stand for the others to love me.
I suppose since Jerry doesn't have a tail, and his butt hole is totally exposed, he passes the most horribly stinky gases in the world! When this happens, I and all the rest of my dogs and cats run for cover!
I took him to a car show recently, and every single person stopped to look at him, since French Bulldogs are rare around here. When I saw a huge Pit bull, I stopped to take a pic of him, which I shouldn't have, because he suddenly lunged and attacked Jerry, but thank goodness Jerry wasn't hurt at all. I’m still amazed that I and the owner of the Pit bull didn’t get bitten when we pulled them away. Apparently, the Pitbull lost the battle, since he got a bleeding torn tongue from the incident! I'll soon share the pics of that Pit bull, and others I took that day.
On another occasion, I took Jerry to the desert. He suddenly ran to a picnic table where this family was eating. Jerry put his butt toward them and their dog and started throwing gobs of sand with his hind legs at them. I don’t blame them at all for hollering nasty things at Jerry and me!
Jerry is a bully, and a pest, but I still love him to death, and can't imagine life without him!
