I don’t understand how these so called Christians can call themselves Christians when they are actually pawns of the devil. If these blood suckers aren't terrorists, then what is?! How can people like this get away with such horrifying things like this, when they are obviously advocating the assassination of our President? Why doesn't the Secret Service investigate these people, and put a stop to it?

Let his children be fatherless
And his wife a widow.
Psalm 109:9

Well they are Christian, look in the bible, God spites armies, he destroys civilizations, floods the world, says he is going to burn it down again, these being the children of said God, it makes sense they think and feel this way, after all look at who they are worshipping.

Now on the flip side, if they were Satanists, they would be telling Obama he is capable of so much more, because technically, in the bible, the Devil told people to realize their own potential, ie Eve when he told her to eat the apple and realize her potential, and Jesus when he went to hell by saying you are the son of God, you have powers you are not even aware of. He gambled with God over Job, reading the bible, there really isn't anything written that shows the Devil doing anything wrong, in fact it kind of paints him like a motivational speaker telling people to be all they can be. He never cast plagues on civilization, never showed wrath or vengeance, or even hatred as God did in the old testament.

This is why when anybody spouts pure hatred, or speaks true evil, I know they are Christian :)

New Testament...
Christians go by the NEW TESTAMENT. It's obvious that those I've mentioned in this post have never read it.

Love is patient, Love is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.

Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.

Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.

Re: New Testament...
...you're slightly offbase with saying that christians ONLY go with the testament. They seem to mix and match from both versions, often when they want to cite specific passages and ignore other ones.

Re: New Testament...
Christians also read the Old Testament, but when they call themselves Christians, they're suppose to follow the New Testament.

I've read the Bible from beginning to end three times in my life, and to be honest, the Old Testament was kind of my favorite. :o)

No, because I just saw it for the first time on the MSNBC news yesterday.

they're being careful to call for God to slay him to get around making a direct threat

http://www.lectlaw.com/def2/t028.htm

but of course we all know the US is full of fanatic wackos (like the last president) who hear God giving them orders to kill people, so it's really not an idle threat for people in public roles to issue these fatwas.

careful at all...
Thank you for that link!

I don’t believe they’ve been careful at all.

There is absolutely no doubt that the words – Psalm 109:9 “Pray for Obama – Let his children be fatherless and his wife a widow”on their bumper stickers ARE willful, SERIOUS threats for nuts, and there are countless of them, to injure or kill our President.

I honestly feel that those with these bumper stickers on their cars should be arrested, and charged with words that clearly suggest for someone to do harm to the President of the United States!

once again you are misinformed.
The joke that is being fowarded around the internet is
Psalm 109:8--
"May his days be few; and may another take his place of leadership. "

If you heard verse 9 instead of 8 on MSNBC I have no doubt that it was one of the the MSNBC fanatics that found verse 9. and bastardised the joke in order to attempt to make fundimentalist Christians look bad since MSNBC is made up of assholes anyway. And as always you believe them.

but lets look back a bit about Christianity and the Catholic Church. who claims to be Christian. You might want to read about the Spanist Inquisition and how thye catholic church was so understanding about Martin Luther, Gallieo, Copernicus, and so many more who tried to make life better by bringing us out of the dark ages.

IF you were to talk to most fundimental Christians, you would find they have nothing against Obama the man, but cannot stand his policies that are slowly destroying the America we know and Love. They do not want a Moslem extremist in the white house or terrorists in the inner circle. All his Czars are either Socialists, communists or some other fanatic pinko. If you wish I can send you a list of them and their extremist beliefs.

No Christian thougfh wants any harm to come of him or his family in either way even though Michelle could take some tips from some of the past first ladys about traveling on Air Force One and promoting the proper immage. Her stepping off AIr Force One looking like some hoochie mamma or ghetto slut. Obama needs some new protocol people too.

This is the way I heard it also.

I also agree as to the makeup of his close personal advisors, not a one of which I would trust to even be in the same room with Savanah.

Re: once again you are misinformed.
I just read this Sweet Pie, because I haven't been getting LJ email for a long time. I don't know what's wrong. Have you had the same problem? I'll have to come back here to see if you replied, since my LJ email won't let me know!

I know my darling daddy! Without my belief in the Lord, I'd go insane!

I'm having problems with my LJ email. I haven't been getting it for a pretty long time now, which has made it just about impossible for me to know when someone has posted a comment. I've now started going to my posts to see who has commented. Have you noticed the same problem?

An unrelated question, but since it's near and dear to you, you might be able to help me.

I've got a major paper due this week. I've decided the topic will be on the interaction between Mexican drug trafficking and the Mexican government, that is, how the drug trade has affected their ability to govern. Could you point me to some sources that might help? The stuff I've got is sadly lacking in the information I need.

By the way, if you haven't already (and you might well have), read The Daughters of Juarez. It's basically an investigative reporting thing on the murders of women in the city. It's something I'm sure you'll gain a lot from.

I'm so sorry, but I just now found your message. For some reason, I haven't been getting email from LJ from those who either leave a message, or a comment to my posts. You haven't noticed the same problem?

I wouldn't have been able to help in my own little way, since I was in CA for close to 2 weeks. I positive your paper came out great, because you are as smart as can be! The things I could accomplish if I had half your brain!

So many horrible things have been happening in Juarez, so horrible, that you cannot even begin to imagine. I still ride my bicycle there ever-so-often, because the day is fast approaching where I won't go anymore. The violence grows daily. I have so many things to share about the situation over there, and will soon start making posts about it. The only reason I continue to go there is for taking pictures.

I haven't read the Daughters of Juarez yet, but will do so. Is it a book, or is it in the internet?

First, the paper was crap. I couldn't find the resources I wanted to -- I know there was good stuff somewhere on your journal, I just couldn't find it!

Second, Daughters of Juarez is a book published in 2006. You should be able to find it at the library.
