My tiny blind baby - Little Helen Keller

First of all, because I' really like to know:

Have you ever jotted something kind of important on a little piece of paper, only to lose it?

Have you ever written a phone number down, but omit the name of the person it belongs to, and weeks later wonder who that number belongs to?

Have you ever tied a little string around your finger to remember something, only to find you've forgotten why you tied the string in the first place?

Have you ever lost something in the house, never to find it again? (my TV control)

Have you ever lost something, only to later find it in the frig? (my cell phone)

My dream or nightmare I had last night:

I had one of those dreams, that I’m sure you’ve also had at one time or another, that goes on, and on in a circle without end.

I had never had a dream about my mother, but I did last night. We were at some kind of restaurant where you serve yourself. Somehow, my Mom and I were separated from each other in the line waited to serve ourselves. I turned back and saw her way, way back in the line. When I served myself, and got to the cash register to pay, I had a huge black purse. These are just a few of the things I can remember pulling out of my purse - When I looked inside to money to pay, I found I had a bunch of sheets of cashier checks. Some were for $850, and none less than $1,000 dollars. I had NO cash, so I ripped one of the checks and gave it to the cashier. She asked for my driver’s license, and when I opened my huge purse to look for it, I couldn’t find it. I then started to go one by one, checking a bunch of business cards, and gawd know what more. I turned to look at the cashier and she had a disgusted look on her face. I then started pulling stuff from my purse, one by one. This is what I pulled out! An umbrella, a coin purse, a box of jacks with a little ball, a whole huge box of Kleenex, countless keys, a lock and chain, a toothpick with a small paper American flag glued to it, a bottle of distilled water, a huge container of antibacterial towelettes (citrus scented), a can of odor eliminator spray, a little bottle of hand sanitizing spray (it even said Clorox), a pistol that I had never seen in my life, a flashlight, eye drops, a bag of kitty litter (used), a cat pooper scooper, a bird house that belongs to Norma, an ostrich feather duster, my Nancy and Ronald Reagan house shoes, a dirty old fork, a bottle of rubbing alcohol, an old diary I had lost when I was a teenager, and this went on and on continuously to where I had a huge mountain of junk on the floor. I looked behind me, and saw my Mom with a frightened look on her face, and her arms stretched out pulled back even further away, and the people in the line were looking at me with so much hatred, (they honest to God looked like those anti health reform mobs I’ve been seeing on TV) that I could see fangs instead of teeth. Burning up with embarrassment, I continued pulling out stuff from my purse. This went on all throughout the night, without stop, and can’t give you the conclusion to the nightmare because I woke up because I had to go to the bathroom. Thank goodness!

In my next post, I’ll be asking for your advice on something that kind of has to do with a legal matter.

I need a few sprinkles of your psychic powers!

The thing that upsets me most is my remote TV control. It is a total mystery to this day.

I often do this. And I lose big pieces of paper - like whole papers, right when I need them. It is MOST frustrating. And I have often lost phone numbers and email addresses written on scrappy pieces of paper that I really wanted to keep. So sad it is!

That is a disconcerting dream.

When I turn the house upside down trying to find some certain thing, and then find it, it literally zaps the all the energy out of me. Sometimes, I'll look at the thing I looked for and found, and ask myself it it was worth it, and most often the answer is no.

I have hundreds of reminders to myself in my computer notepad, only to find I've forgotten what file name I gave it.

Well, I'm sure glad the same things happen to you! No! Don't get angry, it's just that I love company in my lost and found misery! :o)

Hah - I understand.

This one time, my housemate bought me a gorgeous bowl to put my purse and keys in, because I was losing them all the time. But I lost the bowl :-(

Funny how I didn't see my lipstick or mascara in that horrible giant black purse!

You better run FAST! 'Cuz I'm coming after you with something I forgot to mention I found in my dream; an iron skillet frying pan! heh heh

When I worked at the mall I walked a girl to her car and she gave me her number. I thought I put it in my cell phone, but I was never able to find it again. I don't know if I didn't save it or what. So, I went to where she worked only to find she didnt work there anymore. And, I never saw her again. She was a cutie too.

goregous sexy blond walks...
Oh no Tig!

Your situation kind of reminded me of this commercial about this man sitting on a park bench, and this goregous sexy blond walks slowly to him while giving him the most interested and sexy look. He was eating a greasy burger as he watched her in shock to see that HE was the one she was walking up to. When she reached him, she gave him a little slip of paper with her cell number on it. He stared at it, but in his excitement, his greasy finger smeared her number. He got up to tell her what had happened, but it was too late, because she was already driving off in her red expensive sports car.

Just got back from camping in Yosemite and we were laughing about how when you have to pee when asleep, you remember the craziest parts fo your dreams. As long as it doesn't turn to you sitting down to start peeing you're safe, but if you start to pee in your dream, you're a mess!
