GOP Thugs At Health Care Forums

GOP Thugs At Health Care Forums

What the hell does the Bible have to do with Health Care Reform? These people are evil Bible thumping thugs, just look at them. I feel they are extremely dangerous thugs who are capable of anything, even violence, and should be arrested!

We need drastic health care reform, because it is a crying SHAME that this country has so many without health insurance because they cannot afford the outrageous, and sinful price. Thank God I have Aetna because of my job, which pays 100% of my medical bills, dental included, and all I have to pay is $20.00 for medication. Yes, I'm lucky – so far! But Cancer and Diabetes runs rampantly in my family. What will happen to me, (I am single, and 100% on my own) should I develop Cancer? I'll lose my job, my insurance, and then what? I won't be able to get any kind of health insurance, because insurance companies refuse to insure Cancer victims. I am a home owner, and have some savings, plus I've been contributing to my IRA since I joined the Army. For this reason, I will not qualify for any kind of medical help, and will have to sell my house, spend my life savings, then what? It will not be enough to pay for the astronomical bills that will accumulate by treatment.

My Dad has Prostate Cancer, but he has the same kind of insurance I have through his job. He has to get a PSA test every 6 months to see how his Cancer is going. So far so good, but he will have to do it again on Sept. 10th. What if the Cancer has spread, and more extensive treatments are necessary? Then what? He'll lose his job, and insurance. He'll have to sell his home, spend all his life savings, and when all his money is gone, and savings, then what? Remember, no insurance company will accept him, and this is a fact!

Okay, perhaps I will be safe from getting Cancer, but what if I'm involved in a horrific car accident, where I'm left severely maimed, and will never be able to work again? What then? One never knows what the future holds in store for us!

These evil GOP's are playing politics, they're playing with our lives, and they make me sick to my stomach. They nor the insurance companies don't give a horse’s ass if we live or die, due to lack of medical help. These disgusting FAT CATS are only concerned with getting richer, and they are doing everything possible, even using these disgusting, repulsive, STUPID people to do there filthy bidding!

WE, the people voted for Obama, because WE wanted change! So, why so much concern what the GOP think and want? I'm keeping my eye, and you should too, on some of the Democrats, who seem to have sold their soul to the F-ing DEVIL!

Disgusting!@! PLEASE watch these two Youtube Videos!

You say you oppose
I believe I've already sold myself with hard, cold facts. Obama's plan can't be any worse than how health care is now, where millions are without it, because they can't afford the god forsaken prices they demand.

You say you oppose national health care, and it's your right, but I believe those who are suffering, and dying because they can't afford health care because they've lost their jobs, have a RIGHT to chose it if they wish.

This country SUCKS when it comes to health care availability.

Re: You say you oppose
You haven't sold anything, and you haven't given me any solid facts. You've thrown a tantrum about those who've gone to the quasi-townhall meetings to protest, but you haven't shown me that Obama's plan is better than the current system. And if this country's health care availability "sucks", then why are citizens of countries with government health care shelling out the money to come to the US for treatment?

I've spoken to people about the health care in Great Britain (with no prompting on my part), and their individual cases have left me leery about nationalized health care. Further, some of what has been coming out of Obama's advisors has me deeply disturbed that he wants to go down the exact same track. More, there are things in the bills in Congress that I find deeply worrying. To put it simply, I have... reservations?

I'm not in favor of abandoning our current system. You're the one who wants to change it. Sell me on Obama's plan.

Re: You say you oppose
How dare you say I'm having a tantrum, when these THUGS are not allowing others the First Amendment to the United States Constitution! They are mobs - thugs, and will eventually become violent!!

I don't have to give other facts, beyond the fact that millions of families have lost their insurance due to their loss of jobs.

The way it is now, is HORRIBLE. Enough is enough for the FAT PIGS to get even richer at the cost of American's lives!

Re: You say you oppose
Are you suggesting that the First Amendment protects the president's planned events designed to drum up support for his initiatives, but not the right of private citizens to protest against those same initiatives at those events?

The way it is now, is HORRIBLE. Enough is enough for the FAT PIGS to get even richer at the cost of American's lives!

Yet you're willing to hand over another major industry to extremely wealthy people in the federal government.

Re: You say you oppose
BUT who made them loose their jobs? OBAMA! Where the hell are the millions of jibs he promised? NOWHERE but I can show you hundreds of thousands that were lost due to HIS actions. Thousdands from Catapillar, Tens of thousands from Circut City just to name two.

And I am one of those "THUGS" because I have been to the TEA PARTYS and will attend Town Meetings like the hundreds that you have seen on MSNBC. Those are Knowledgable American Voters, who are expressing their unhappiness in those who are supposed to be representig them. I am NOT a member of the GOP, I am not on any payroll or getting any payment from any insurance company, which shows you just how much MSNBC lies.

Re: You say you oppose
Actually the bill as it currently stands is more then pretty bad. You can read the bill here.

http://docs.house.gov/edlabor/AAHCA-BillText-071409.pdf

The truth is his scheme outlaws private insurance (page 16 of the 1,018 page draft bill,) sends government employees to your home to monitor your parenting (page 838) and forces the sick and elderly to submit to “end of life counseling” (page 425.)

On page 167, and elsewhere throughout the draft, it also calls for compulsory “shared responsibility payments,” clearly defined as a “tax on individuals without acceptable health care coverage.” The government would confiscate thousands of dollars from your paycheck if they don’t like your choice of coverage. In other words, you have no choice.

And those are just a few of the atrocious provisions of the draft bill. The Congressional Budget Office has found the plan is economically unsustainable. Since “free” care leads to people using the system every time they get the sniffles, it cannot work unless you are put on a miles-long waiting list or get approval from the government to meet your doctor.

That’s commonly called “rationing.”

Its nice to say " I want Healthcare Reform" and it is long overdue. Demanding a bill be passed just because that is what is in its title is short sighted they need to take the time to work this out properly.

Re: You say you oppose
I still believe that a total health care reform is needed for the middle class. We are the ones who are the big losers with this present health care. The very rich, and those who have never worked a day in their lives are perfectly content with the way things are.

I believe in President Obama.

Re: You say you oppose
I believe in President Obama.

That's great, but no one person is worthy of blind trust and remember all of the power you give this government now goes to the Republicans in 2012 or 2016. . The huge rush we’ve seen the past month is about politics. So by the 2010 elections they can say we pushed through Healthcare Reform in our first year. Its about power - NOT the desire to help our fellow man. Don’t allow any party to manipulate you for their own gain.

There are about 135 countries out there with socialized medical programs. Some of the programs are terrible and a few like Singapore and Hong Kong’s are really good. The one thing they all have in common is that they all cost dramatically more then they had promised before enactment. If you really want to learn about this so you can make a decision on what kind of bill you’d like passed try starting with Wikipedia’s article.

Re: You say you oppose
I can't trust the GOP. They are vile, and terrifying. I will not listen to anything they have to say, because the goons they've sent out to terrorize those who wish to speak.

I hold all my trust in Obama, because he has an American family, and I know he wants the best for this country, but the right wing is out to destroy him. The only thing they're accomplishing is, the the majority of the people continue to become more and more disgusted with that political party. They have paid these vile mobs to terrorize the people, and it's totally unacceptable.

Thank you for taking time to try and help me, I truly appreciate it Sweet Pie!!

I say do it right the first time.

Our current system is employer based ( A flaw). Overall the middle class does fine, we have more advanced testing per capital then anywhere else in the world, it’s the poor and working poor ( Hair dressers, construction workers, lawn care.) that get screwed. Keep in mind if a bill that destroys all private competition is passed, health care for the middle will diminish as those won’t be allowed the same choices they have now. I’m not making that up, its in the bill. Conditions for the poor will improve. Conditions for the Rich will stay the same. They’ll just go elsewhere for première medical services that involve chronic diseases like cancer, MS, Crohns.., similar to the way the affluent among the Germans, Canadians and Brits come here.

I’m all for Health Care reform. There is a tremendous amount of waste, fraud and fat in the American System that needs to be trimmed away. Why the hell do we have to reimport drugs made here to buy them cheaper? That’s crazy. There are people that need adequate care w/o breaking the bank. Let just do it right, so we don’t have another mess to clean up later. This bill as it is currently written sucks.
