AIG, Liddy, CEO, Ugly Memory

The AIG joke has brought an ugly memory back into my mind.

I've mentioned the FEMALE stalker I've continue to have since way back when I was in high school. When I had just completed my tour with the U.S. Army, she approached me and told me that her car had broken down, and it would cost her $400.00 to repair it. She BEGGED me to lend her the money, because she needed her car in working order so she could drive to work. She PROMISED she'd pay me back in a week. I went ahead and lent her the money in cash. That was the last time I heard from her during that particular year.

Since she wouldn't answer my phone calls, I asked a friend to tell her that I wanted my money back. She told my friend that she wasn't going to pay it back, because I didn't need it!! This angered me beyond words, so I looked into taking her to court, but was told I couldn't do a damn thing about it, since I didn't have it all in writing with her signature, promising to pay me back my $400.00. Yes, I was STUPID, but I excuse my stupidity because I am stupid. BUT, BUT, BUT, what about our own government lending BILLIONS of dollars that belonged to us the tax payers???!!! At least the $400.00 I lost with the BITCH was MY hard earned money! By and by, the bitch continues to stalk me as I speak!!

That old cliché of beggars can't be choosers is not true at all, at least not in this case. AIG BEGGED for billions of dollars and they got it, and they have chosen where the billions will go. These beggars chose to put much of our money in their own pockets.

Mexico has always been known for it's corruption from within, and because of this corruption, the country is about to fall. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever have imagined that the same is now happening here in our country. For how long as corruption existed in this country? There's a question going on; "who is watching our money?" I feel we all have a right to know, but I know we won't, because the ugly truth will just be swept under the rug to be forgotten, just as the name of the person who took it upon himself to delete some amendment that would have stopped those bonuses to have been given out.

There seems to be no end to the astronomical amounts of OUR money that's being GIVEN to these countless, and nameless fat cats (WHO are they?) as bailout money, and because of this, you and I continue to go deeper, and deeper in debt. I honestly feel we've been blackmailed by the AIG CEO's, and all those other entities that have received billions in bailouts, by their scare tactics by saying that if they go under, we will all go under, too.

I'm very angry, so angry that I feel numb, and can't even react anymore, because I realize that we, the tax payers who now earn barely enough money for our minute creature comforts by working, and who are the backbone of this country, are being robbed by thieves who wear an expensive suit, white shirt, and tie.

I'm sure many lawyers are starting to lick their choppers right now, because if OUR money is taken away from those AIG CEO's who received the bonuses, they will sue. I can't even begin to imagine how many more millions we'll end up dishing out, again in court fees. There is no end, is there?!

This Liddy guy confessed that the Federal Reserve knew all about the $160 million bonuses before it happened. Is this possible?!

I now see absolutely no hope for this beloved country of ours, because these ravenous money hungry beasts, who sold their very souls to the devil, continue gnawing at it to the bone.

My ignorance goes so far as to admit, that I don't understand EXACTLY how all this came to be, all I know is, that I smell a rancid odor of rats.

Bear Arms, Shall Not Be infringed."!

So did congress. You need to look at who wrote the stimulus bills. The hearings today were a dog&pony show to placate people into believing congress is outraged. They're not. They're just nervous.

How sad. Things like this makes me want to give up.

Congress doesn't give a crap. AIG said it wouldn't pay the bonuses back in the end of 2008. Democrats are hand in hand with big banks just like republicans.

Obama is being a piss-ant do nothing, and even he bows the mighty bankers.

I doubt we will be seeing the poor dragging the rich out of their homes and chopping their heads off like the French did in their revolution, but it could get ugly pretty quickly.

I don't have much hope either frankly, which is why I keep working on making my small corner of the globe as good of a place as I can. I write emails to my senators and representatives, I do restoration work on the weekends and I study the GRE so that I can enter graduate school someday and work to make the world a tiny bit better.

Going to the gym and ignoring the news helps too (though not for long on the news, I'm a news junkie.)

I need
I, just as you, and most Americans, work harder and harder, with longer and longer hours during each day to survive financially. But it seems that the harder and longer I work, the more steps backwards I end up taking.

It angers me beyond words that these animals who took our money in the form of bonuses, ran like the cowardly dogs they are.

I NEED desperately to know the names of ALL these thieves. I NEED desperately to see ALL their faces spattered all over the news. I NEED desperately justice for ALL of us who have worked so damn hard for every penny we’ve earned, only to find these monsters hiding in the bushes with our money.

I’ve often wondered how these people can sleep at night. I’ve finally come to a conclusion. They sleep like babies because they have no conscious (can't spell the damn word!) or souls. The sold their live and souls to the devil himself.

If you wanna know the real abortion that is the AIG bailout you need to go read this:

All thia has been known a long time, Thats the reason that Senator Chris Dodd (D) Ct. made sure the bill was placed in the Porkulus Bill, that would prevent contracts from being overturned when companys were given money. Hell, Dodd recieved the huighest amount of money from AIG for his reelection. Hell Obama got over $100,000.00 THAts why he ducked the question from a reporter yesterday when he was asked how he feels about the money he was giiven by those same AIG fat cats that he is not telling Geitner to Tax their asses off. You notice he is not giving his money back.

Geither was one of the Fat Cats that helped WRITE those contracts when he worked with AIG, kinda pinches his toes a bit now. THATS why he weaqs the Only man for the job...Yea Right... You dont see Geitner paying any of his money back either.

WHY are they not sending the fat cats from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to prison? Now that Obama is elected they are no longer working in his election committee. Ill tell you why, because it was the Democrats under carter that started this whole BS!

OH Im waiting on you to make a post abut your worship and how he is trying to screw the Veterans, by wanting to make them pay for their medical care, on their service connected disabilities. THAT SUCKS as much as He does!
HELL the Illegal Aliens and the lazy SOB's that refuse to work and already get free medical care, will be getting better medical care than those who wore the Uniform and was wounded or disabled for their country.

I believe I made the statement a while ago that you had not seen anything yet... well you are seeing more and more as time goes on.

Lets just hope that the People of the US get full of Obama's inability to do anything and give him a vote of No Confidence and get his ass out of there.

We need a whole new election! because we sure as hell dont need anyone in the order of succession as president OR anyone in the upper echelons of the Republican party.

Obama has only been President for a few weeks. Bush was in for 8 years. I can still smell that horrific odor of poo in the RIP's rear end! haaaaaaaa

Let us face it. Everybody in goverment has gotten their share of the beef. This is why we little folks have been left with only the bones.

Oh, and the Dick just won't go away. He just will not stop spreading the same old - same old - fear tactics. He really needs to go out to pasture like Fernidad the Bull, and start smelling the daisies!

For the first time in 8 years, I'm starting to believe I live in a Free America.

I still have faith in Obama. The day I stop, which I believe will never be, I'll be the first to admit it.

It's all a scam. Obama is pushing the same 'recovery' plan that Bush did. They both are in hock to the same corperate masters. America needs a revelution just as bad as Mexico does right now.

Sweet Pie, lets give Obama a chance. The day he became our president, he inherited all the horrors the Republican's left behind.

so what are we all going to do??
It's easy to piss and moan about not getting your money, but seriously, maybe it's time for some good old fashioned 18th century style justice: round up the motherfuckers and lop off their heads! Politicians, the wealthy, lawyers....eat the rich!

yeah, that was excessive, but really...what are we all going to do? THINK about that...stop writing how angry you are...really think about real change. Send pink slips to representatives to Washington. Let them feel some pain.

The guillotines eventually collected Robespierre's head, as well. It'd be a good idea to keep that in mind.

Cool it on Liddy. He's not part of the group that sent AIG into its tailspin; I'm not familiar enough with the particulars on how he got his current position, but know enough that he's not the problem.

You really need to look at the Congress if you want to know who's at fault with these (not legally but for all intents and purposes) misappropriated funds. They were the ones who threw a bunch of money at these companies; now they're screaming at the companies, trying to cover up their own culpability in this fiasco.

I was cooling it in the beginning with Liddy, but after hearing him excuse some of shinanigans the CEOs did, I couldn't cool it anymore.

Why didn't all the CEOs attend? Were the rascals too afraid?

I think you show wisdom when you allow Obama time. No one not even Obama will be able to turn things around in a year or maybe even in four years. It took eight years of bad decisions and a war to get us in this shape, we can't fix it over night. I would imagine the people who are blowing you crap about Obama are simply upset that the party the prefer lost. I'm not sure what they see that I don't. To me my wallet is more important than if we as a nation are considered tough or not. Waving the flag doesn't put food on the table for me.

As for those executives getting those bonuses, I believe that if they did that bad a job they don't deserve those bonuses. I would think if they sued that it wouldn't be all that difficult to prove they did not live up to the letter of their contract with they company that employed them. Bonuses? NO! But a good round of firings might set things right. If you performed that badly at your job you would be looking for work, so the same should apply to them.

I edited one word here 'cuz I'm a lady :o)
Yeah, some people are giving me a hard time, because of my love for Obama, but that's okay. Of course, I love you much more than I love Obama. Just wanted you to know that!

I find it exasperating that some are already blaming him for all the poo the Republican's left behind. Don't they realize that it took EIGHT long years to come to this dire situation we now find ourselves in? I mean, you can say that Obama is still in diapers. People need to give him time, LOTS of time to hopefully fix this almost impossible situation.

As for the bonuses those boneheads got, I'm outraged! I love that word - outraged, because Obama used it!

I wonder if we'll ever get to see everyone of those swinging dick's face? I really want to see exactly who ran away with our booty!!

You are right to smell a rat.

Now go and read up on "monetizing the debt" which is what the FED did yesterday.

Now you will really have something to think about, and probably nightmares on top.

The high rate of inflation we had under Carter will be just the preview of what is now coming down the line.
