Rants and raves about everything

Rants and raves about everything.

I’m writing from my other computer, because my other one, the one that I have all the content to all of my domains has been infected with SPYWARE. It is a total mess, and it’s been useless trying to fix it myself. My situation is as bad as it can get, and I just don’t know if I’ll be able to save the stuff. I am so depressed and so full of rage that there are so many evil webmasters on the net. I’ve been working on the new Romantic domain for close to a year; therefore, I’ve been doing a lot of surfing. I was working on my dog pages, and wanted to find something about dogs having souls. I found a site, clicked on it, and immediately I knew I was in trouble, because my computer started acting up. It’s gone from bad to a nightmare! I don’t know how this was possible, since I have Spybot, which blocks people like this jerk.

I can already see that this year isn’t going to be good to me. I’m just about to give up. I even lost the control to my TV!

It’s been about 4 weeks since I ordered the Obama coins advertised on TV, but haven’t received them. It was a recording, and I had to give them the number of the check so they could receive the money. (Not my acct. #) I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever get them.

Grandpa is really getting old, but is constantly cleaning the house. I continue to tell him to stop, but he just won’t listen. Sometimes he aggravates me, because I’ll be drinking my coffee while working on the computer, and he’ll appear from nowhere and grab my coffee cup. If it has a little bit of coffee, he’ll take it away and wash it, then come in again with a broom and moves my chair then start sweeping the floor! Mickey and Jewely aren’t too comfortable either, because he’ll suddenly grab them and give them a bath.

The guy I told you about, the one I let live in the apartment in the back of my yard, is still going to trade school. He’s doing great, and still has his beautiful girlfriend. She invited me to her house for Christmas for dinner. Her father, who is a physician, was there, too. I was a little nervous, because he and his daughter have so much class, but I did manage to make him laugh a lot, and when I told them I was leaving, he told me not to leave so soon, but I did, since I never stay too long when visiting someone. He still doesn’t know that the guy that lives in my backyard was in prison for 14 years, but I know his girlfriend will never leave him because they are truly madly in love!! Now that’s what I call unconditional love!! Thank God I only had to make 2 payments for his school, because he got a grant. He is living proof of an ex con having the desire to make it in this world. There are so many who never get the chance, because they don’t have anyone who is willing to help them.

My brother, the one who is so heartbroken because he lost his job, his house, and his BITCH girlfriend, left for CA. a few days ago. He’s coming back in a couple of weeks to bring me his family; his 2 little dogs, since dogs aren’t permitted at the apartment he rented. So, now I’ll have 12 dogs, and 20 something cats!! You have no earthly idea how much I spend on pet food! Oscar is a white Chihuahua, and Jerry is a French Bulldog. When he bought Jerry, he got a $500.00 discount on him, because he only has one ball. Jerry is so delicate, that I’ll have to buy a special diet for him. My brother had thought of giving them to his EX, but I told him I wouldn’t stand for that, and to bring those kids to me!!

I can’t handle people who are loud! They upset my ear!

The more I see Obama and his family, the more I love them. What a cool, calm, collected, virtuous, and handsome man he is! Michelle is so lucky!

I need a break desperately. In March or April, I’ll be going to Washington, DC, and sometime during the summer, I’m going to República de Costa Rica, and to the República Oriental del Uruguay.

I hope you have fun in D.C. But do be careful, that place is full of criminals. And I don't mean congressmen either. :P

I work in prisons and about half of them are good guys who made a mistake. They just want to do their time and get on with their lives. The other half should never be let out.

I will, and I'm taking my camera!

It can't possibly be as dangerous as Juarez, Mexico. What are the gun laws in D.C?

When I use to visit prisons, I could see that this one, and the others were good guys who needed a chance in life. This guy is very good and can't show me enough ways of his appreciation. I know he'll make it. He is truly blessed to have found his girlfriend. She's also backing him up %100.

As for the others you spoke of, you are right. They are the epitome of evil, and it can be seen immediately on their faces. They have the face of RATS. Be safe Sweet Pie!

Re: Rats
DC used to be against the law to have a gun. Unless you were a member of the police, FBI, etc... hence it being a murder capital of the world at one point in time. It isn't quit as bad as Juarez. But parts of it can be.

Ack on the computer woes, there's a special hell for these people who make spyware and virus's (or however you make virus plural).
Your life always on the go!
*Big Hugs*

What a nightmare that demon has caused me. How I wish I could get my hands on him/her, and do to this person what the Army taught me!

Yes, my life is always on the go, but towards the wrong way! I think I'll eventually go crazy!

Hugs my Pooh!

The more I see Obama and his family, the more I love them. What a cool, calm, collected, virtuous, and handsome man he is!

You strike me as exactly the same kind of person who worshipped Bill Clinton, and who thought he could do no wrong.

Monica Lewinsky
Nobody can hold a candle to Obama, not even Clinton. Clinton made one unforgivable mistake; he permitted that horrible Monica to do what she did to him. Obama only has eyes for his wife. His undying love for Michelle is forever. I know this.

Re: Monica Lewinsky
Clinton made one unforgivable mistake; he permitted that horrible Monica to do what she did to him.

And possibly raped/sexually harassed several other women. (On the same subject, do you know why MoveOn.Org was founded?)

As for Obama, you will never admit it when he does something wrong. Never. Your actions now prove that you're going to be just as bad as the Clinton worshippers.

Re: Monica Lewinsky
I'm watching Obama's Biography on TV. The more I see, the more he gives me, and the multitude of others. Can't you see that this man has integrity? Sure, he'll make mistakes because he's only human, but I know he'll continue to try and do what's best for this country. What an almost imposibe job he as taken, since the past administration came so very close to destroying our home - America.

Obama is a good man, nothing more, nothing less, and this is good enough for me. I love him almost as much as I love chocolate, and my 4-legged baby Jewely.

Re: Monica Lewinsky
Can't you see that he's a politician and nothing more? You've been blinded by the man's charm and brainwashed by your MoveOn handlers, and you refuse to see past the facade. He's corrupt (Tony Rezko), and he's tied himself to people that any person with America's best interest at heart would have shunned (Wright, Khalidi, Ayers). Or do you honestly believe that Obama somehow "didn't know" these people were who they were?

Mark my words: I was right that Obama would get elected, and I will be right that he's going to be a disaster.

I'm pretty good with computers, but I've had two different incidents in the last six months where I suspect my computer was 'infected' with whatever. It could be spyware, or worse yet, it might be malware -- that turns our computers into botnets, that are then rented out to spammers! (yikes)

I'm appalled by these sorts of things... (sigh)

I hope you have a good tech who can try to clean the stuff off for you. My own tech quit business in 2008, so I've got a new guy I need to test out (to see if he's any good).

Good luck with that!

The more I see Obama and his family, the more I love them. What a cool, calm, collected, virtuous, and handsome man he is! Michelle is so lucky!

I so agree. I can't wait for Tuesday! And like everyone else, I'm excited to see what Michelle will be wearing. Have you heard the thing where women have been asked to wear pearls to show their support of Michelle? I'm all over it... (Even though I only have fakes...)

I hope you can get away in March. And D.C. should be wonderful that time of year!

It's going to be a GOOD year, no matter what.

Jan. 19th, 2009 10:52 pm (UTC)
I've always mended my own computer, but this time the problem turned out to be absolutely major! Not only is it infested with malware, but so much more! I had to hire an actual tech, and even he couldn't fix the problem. He's taken my baby to the shop, and I should know what's what by tomorrow.

So very exciting! Tomorrow! I'm also looking forward to seeing what lovely Michelle and her beautiful girls wear.

No! I hadn't heard about the pearls! I have a pearl necklace that belonged to my beloved mother. Of course, they aren't real, but for the Obama's I'll pretend they are as I wear them and take oodles of pictures of them on TV!

I'm going to try for March so I can see the blossoms.

I pray you're right about it being a good year, for the sake of the world, and so many families with little children to feed!

Great big bear hugs!!

Perhaps I will someday, Sweet Pie. We can both sit down together and just cry, and cry!!
Jan. 18th, 2009 08:42 am (UTC)
I mailed you a Christmas card, but it came back to me :(
Jan. 19th, 2009 05:53 am (UTC)
I'm so sorry that I didn't let you, and others know. It expired, and I never had a chance to go and renew it, but I definitely will. I'll let you know when.

Hope you had a very nice Christmas!
Hearts you!

I'm generally very good with antiviruses, but I've gotten three major infections in the last two weeks. Luckily I think I've gotten it taken care of, but for now I'm sticking to reputable sites as much as possible. One of the worst ones is Virtumonde. It's very nasty. Uses a name like "~.exe" so when you do a search on-line, Google thinks it's a wildcard for every file name ending in ".exe". Spybot finds it, but it's almost impossible to get rid of. I've had to resort to System Restore. And McAfee is totally blind to it, thinks everything is fine even while real-time scan is on, and it keeps getting its protection settings disabled.
Jan. 19th, 2009 06:04 am (UTC)
I think I know where I picked up that spyware and quite possibly the destruction of all my files. I thought it was a reputable site on google when I tried to find something about dogs and if they had souls.

I'm afraid to click on any of the list of 10 on the first page of google, or yahoo to see which one messed me up. I sure would like to report that site, because I'm sure there have been many who have experienced the horror I have. Words cannot convey how much rage I'm feeling.

I've always been pretty good at fixing whatever computer problems I've encountered, but this time, it seems to be impossible to fix.
Jan. 18th, 2009 01:47 pm (UTC)
Yes take a vacation and get some much needed rest.
Jan. 19th, 2009 12:45 am (UTC)
I sure will, and I suggest you do the same Sweet Pie! :o)
Jan. 18th, 2009 02:09 pm (UTC)
*hugs you tight*

Come on over, let me take care of you for a while...
Jan. 19th, 2009 05:51 am (UTC)
How nice that would be. Careful, I just may drop by someday to give you, and that beautiful son of yours a big hug.
Jan. 19th, 2009 04:04 pm (UTC)
I hope you do!

Jan. 18th, 2009 03:27 pm (UTC)
Go out and buy a program called Spy Sweeper. It is by Webroot. Turn on all the features, including rootkits. I surf a lot, lot, lot. Including sites that are known for spy and mal ware. Knocking on wood, I haven't caught a virus or anything in a very long time. I also use Symantic's Norton 360(2). THis in my opinion is an amazing combo. Hope that helps. Oh and Spy Sweeper is about 20ish dollars.
Jan. 19th, 2009 05:49 am (UTC)
I've tried everything possible. I've always been successful when my baby has gotten sick, but this time, the damage has been grave.

Thank you for trying to help me. If it turns out I've lost everything on my computer, I know I'll be going into deep depression.
Jan. 19th, 2009 12:34 am (UTC)
"I even lost the control to my TV!"

At least you still have your sense of humor.

On another note, Obama has some big shoes to fill, and he hasn't done so yet. So, he might be all those things you say, but he hasn't even stepped up to bat yet.
Jan. 19th, 2009 05:47 am (UTC)
It's becoming harder and harder to keep my sense of humor alive.

Give him time, like maybe a couple of days from now, then he'll start hitting homeruns! Trust me!

Every time I see him, Michelle, and their 2 little girls I love them more. He makes me smile.
Jan. 19th, 2009 08:02 am (UTC)
I don't know what his family has to do with anything. All I know is that the President is expected to be the champion of the people. And it's my understanding that the Presidents of late have fallen short of that. They've been sleeping at the wheel. Barack Obama said that there will be change. You say that he'll start hitting homeruns, and that I should trust you. But, I still don't know what team he's batting for, so excuse my lack of enthusiasm.

All I know is that I wouldn't be the least bit suprised to find Barack Obama upholding the status quo insofar as to witness him stand idly by as more crimes against the people are committed to uphold US corporatism. In fact, I expect nothing short of seeing more executive orders that further blurr the rights of the people and the police power of this government in the name of "securing" our economy.
Jan. 19th, 2009 12:31 pm (UTC)
I believe that tomorrow is the beginning of a truly magical time. I haven't felt this way since Camelot. To see the joy in people's faces. Get ready...it's gonna be special.
Peace & Love
Jan. 19th, 2009 10:42 pm (UTC)
It sure is! I'm counting the hours until tomorrow, as I know you are, too!

God bless Obama, and America, Amor Mio!
