our American Hero
Is this the reason she won't hang the towel? Is this the big catastraphe in Obama's life she's waiting for in June?!! nishar, I suddenly DESPISE her more than I despise Hagee and Parsely.

I'll pray more than ever for Obama's safety, and althought I don't care for him at all, my prayers will also be for our American Hero McCain!

To paraphrase Olberman's words
Olberman, Shut the hell up!

I am so damn sick of this dickhead. He was a failure at every broadcast job he has been in until MSNBC let him be a slam junkie on there.

All his previous sports and news casting positions were miserable failures. Now that he can use his venimous tongue against people he does not like.

I am tired of people demanding that "words" not be used because they offend a particulat person or group of people. We cannot use the phrase Radical Islam, or Terrorist because the rag heads are offended. TOUGH SH*T!
Now we cannot use the word Assination during a poplitical campain because we have a history of assinations??? Thats BS!

Mybe we should not use the Names Atlanta or Dallas?? Thats where Kennedy and King were killed.. Wait Bobby was killed in a Hotel we cannot use that word either.. and King was killed on a Balcony at a Motel so no usage of Balcony or Motel either. Kennedy was killed in a Lincoln, so that is out too OH wait Lincoln was killed in the FORD Theater so we cannot use FORD or Theater either... We could go on forever.

It comes down to this... OBAMA, Hillary, McCain, Barr, Paul, and a few others are running for President. They all know that they will be targets of comments criticism and yes if some asshole gets a wild hair up their ass they could try to do the unthinkable. Its happened in the past and it will probably happen again one day in the future. Life can be a bitch at times. BUT If you cannot stand the heat keep your ass out of the kitchen.

Until then I wish Olberman would go take a long drive off a short pier... I am still pissed at that asshole for calling our troops, war criminals back on the 14th. That SOB should kiss the ground our troops (past and present) walk on because its because of them that he can run his frigging mouth and talk shit and get his big paychecks from those gullable dickheads at NBC!

"the rag heads are offended"

You are a complete bigot asshole. You embody everything is is wrong with Americans.

"BUT If you cannot stand the heat keep your ass out of the kitchen." You should take a big fucking swig out if this cup o'advice.

"That SOB should kiss the ground our troops (past and present) walk on because its because of them that he can run his frigging mouth and talk shit and get his big paychecks from those gullable dickheads at NBC!"

NO! We should thank people like civil rights leaders for the clarification that "WE" wetbacks/ragheads/nigger/japs, etc., etc. - don't HAVE TO take your bullshit.

Keith is a tired bore. Politics is a smoke and mirrors game for scum. No matter what any candidate does or doesn't say, it's worse than tabloid gossip and sensationalism, and they're all lying pieces of shit who will say what it takes to get elected, and when they get there, some of it will be true. It doesn't matter if anyone wants to vote with a bullet or impress Jodie Foster or not. The list of shitbags running for presidency this time is long. It's the lesser of two evils, of course, since Bush can't come back, but it's all the same bunch of drama and crap that every election has already been. The horse is beaten to jelly.

fair and balanced
I just now read your comment, along with many others who commented here. I didn't know you all had left comments here. I always make it a point to reply, and I'm sorry I did so late.

Fox news, (Hannity, O’Reilly, Morris, etc.) are constantly saying derogatory things about the Democrat Party, and I’m glad there’s Keith to tell it like it really is. We just can’t have one sided news broadcasters, because we need to know both sides. I have found that Fox is not fair and balanced at all.

I have found that Keith tells it from the heart, while Fox tells it from the wallet.

Talk about taking her words out of context! If someone or some group is planning to assassinate Obama, then they're going to do it on their own accord, and not because Hillary brought up the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. How feeble minded does someone have to be to actually think she's advocating the assassination of Obama?

My thoughts are simply this. Senator Clinton should indeed not use such language in a campaign so fraught with this kind of tension. However this news caster is only doing more damage with his own fired up ranting. The main difference is she made one bad statement. He harps for many minutes using the same bad statement over and over. Again this is an example of bad political behavior.

Olbermann is only saying it as he honestly sees it. The ones who are truly causing irremediable damage is Fox News because they honestly present the news as they want you to see it. The whole bunch are liars.

It was taken out of context and turned around to mean something it was not You know it is a lot Like LJ your words can be interpreted wrong and turned all around if someone wants to do it, and when every word someone says is looked at, and when the press sees blood they go after it Kind of sad but I still think Hillary is the better choice for our country for so many reasons and I will vote for her here in June

PS: I like your new lay out and your new Graphic Savanah looks great from someone that does a lot of Graphics like me I know how much time someone can put in on making them

All presidential candidates’ words are taken out of context. Too many assassinations have happened in this country’s history, and she should have known better than to use the word.

Here goes my take. I don't think she suggested that Obama be assassinated, yet she made a horrible choice for an example and gave little leeway in how to interpret what she meant. Sure, I get it, some primaries have gone well into June but what does an assassination have to do with it?

It makes no sense to say, I'm staying in because "I could be assassinated". I mean if you are assassinated you are pretty much out of he running. So, how can she not expect that people will listen and put her logic together to say "I'm staying in just in case something happens to Obama and you need a viable candidate to take over".

Yeah, there is ZERO place for someone who is so politically astute to say such words. I can't even begin to think how this was such a good idea. There is a term "macaca moment" when you say something on tape or film that can't be taken back or spun in any way in your favor. It's usually the one thing that knocks you completely out of the race.

Her "apology" was not even an apology. And believe that will get played up too. She blew any chance she had at a VP spot and her supporters are hurting to find a way to spin this, especially that this one is stuck in the Mainstream Media Machine now. Keith Olberman was right to a great extent, it's just he does tend to overplay things for drama but I have to agree, assassination is a touchy thing for our pstyche. I'd say most of us weren't even alive when JFK was killed, but judging from what my mom told me it was a hurt to us not unlike how some of us felt on 9/11.

I can' speak for anyone, but it's in very poor taste to draw upon our national shame and sorrow to make a case for your candidacy. It's too much like her supporter in New York Patterson said : she's acting out of desperation.

There's just no excuse for what she said.

Well She was not talking about JFK she was talking about Senator Bobby Kennedy he was shot and killed on June 4, 1968 wile running for president and she was not talking about assassinations she was talking about staying in the race until June and if it was to late to stay in and his name came up you know it did happen even if you were not Born yet and it was sad!

Keith Olberman is such a fucking drama queen. Can he be more over the top?? I guess not.

At first, I couldn't even get through it, but I did it for you. People grab at strings to bring people down. These are very sensitive times. Barrack supporters want Hillary out of the race. Hillary supporters want her to stay in the race. I get it. Her comment can be interpreted both ways.

But, words do have power. We must be reminded of that. She made the remark several times in different ways. I would have suggested a different way or avoid the word all together because easily swayed folk will take offense at just about anything.

I wish people had the same outrage and offense to a word like faggot, especially at the damage it causes the psyche of a young child. That is a word to get up in arms about.

And Keith, you're right...Shame on you!! You're a little late to the party. These rants by him remind me of his sensationalist tendencies. And, why I don't bother listening.

He's a good man.
No he isn't, he tells it like it is. If you want to see drama queens, watch Fox News, especially Bill-0, asshole Hannity, and Dick Morris, just to name a few.

Sweety Pie, there are many people on this earth who are void of compassion, and full of bitterness and hate, and say things that hurt beyond belief. This is the way it has always been. My only hope is that justice will be done for these pieces of worthless flesh, by their maker.

Please watch Keith Olbermann; give him a chance and I know you'll come to love him as I do. He really speaks from the heart. He's a good man.

"You cannot say that!" - K.O.

I used to like Olberman until he turned into the liberal version of Bill O'Reilly: arrogant, pigheaded, and insulting. It is insulting that any so-called "broadcast journalist" would hinder ANYONE's right to free speech. Oh, wait! He's turned into a far-left liberal who only agrees with the First Amendment when he agrees with what is said.

What Hillary has been saying is repulsive. So what? I've been saying she's the devil for years. But to tell her "you cannot say that in this America" is moronic. What America? The one where people like Olberman want to throw out the Constitution when they disagree with someone's right to free speech? Someone ought to sew his lips shut so we no longer have to deal with his feculent blather.

Please don't dislike him lemmy. Fox and their entire ilk have been ruthless assholes, broadcasting filth about Democrats, and all who watch and hear them, believe them, making the Democratic Party's chances minimal in winning.

I've come to love Olberman, and believe all the things he says come from his heart. He isn't the one who wants to throw the Constitution out the window. The real culprit who has already done so is Bush. The Democrats needs a news broadcaster to fight back.

As for Hillary using the assassination word, it was totally uncalled for. There are a few evil people in this world who, through their cowardly ways, will attempt to do the unthinkable if given the chance. When Hillary uttered that horrible word, she placed not only herself, but Obama and McCain in danger.

As for using that horrible word, sure she had the right to do so, but knowing the history of this country as she does, she shouldn’t have.

I watched Keith's show last night. Wow, he really got worked up. I enjoy his show.

Hillary......... I have thought more than once that the only reason for her to keep running was with the hope that something would happen to Obama, yet I wouldn't let myself believe this. Now, i wonder.

I have become very disenchanted with Hillary for a few months now. I'm not sure I could bring myself to vote for her.

Using the Bobby Kennedy year as an example was totally in poor taste, really unacceptable.
