Right before I went to bed last night, I was very much tempted in deleting a prior post I had made, because I just didn't feel comfortable with it. I was even more tempted this morning when I read some pretty unflattering comments about me by a long time LJ friend, but stopped to really think before I did so, and came to the conclusion that I had indeed placed myself in a pretty unsavory position and deserved every word he had written. I decided not to delete the post, because if there’s one thing about me, I’ve always faced the bull by its horns, both here and in my real life. No, I am not a coward who deletes posts where people bring about their negative thoughts about me, and leaves only the flattering ones.
It looks like I’ve been watching too much of Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Dick Morris, and others, too much so that I’ve become just as cruel and repulsive as they are by using the same slur tactics against McCain as they use against Obama and Clinton.
I’m still very interested in politics, and will try to use some other more ladylike methods in trying to convey my thoughts about it, and I’ll probably continue to watch SOME of Fox News, but only to see what these rascals are up to.
I have so many pictures I’ve taken of my life, and the things I love, that I’ve almost forgotten to share them with you, because I’ve been so engrossed in hatred for those I’ve mentioned, but I will start doing so as soon as possible, and I’ll try to perform some CPR to that silly, obnoxious, and sometimes naughty Playgirl of long ago.
I want to thank you for your honesty in helping me see the light:

“I think you're allowing this political dog and pony show affect your character. In no way does attacking another person defend Michelle. You're becoming just like those media watch hounds you despise. In other words, you're becoming a hypocrit.
So please, take off the mask before you forget it is on, or at least clean up your act. Or, maybe you like the dirt? Whatever it may be, let's at least get one thing straight, what you just posted has nothing to do with politics.”

“Umm that's exactly WHAT Obama is trying not to do. Play the same dirty game they're playing.
It backfired on the GOP in Louisiana , Mississippi, and Denny Hastert's seat in that very Republican district in Illinois. The personal attacks only work on the more ignorant voters who think flagpins and being an undercover muslim are actual issues.
It's low class and has nothing to do with anything. If Obama was going to play that game he would have done it to Hillary Clinton, God knows she has plenty of baggage he could have picked on.”
Thank you kids for opening my eyes and helping me start to smell the kittens again!
Oh, I still feel Hillary should step out of the race so Obama can get to work! :o)
