Playgirl's Mechanical World

I can’t recall the exact date I took these pictures, but it was either December 27, 28, or 29.

I was out in my back yard, late in the evening, playing with my dogs, when looked up and saw the moon looking extraordinarily big, bright and beautiful. Luckily, I had my brand new camera with me, because I was planning on taking pics of my dogs. I tried to steady myself as much as possible in order to take pictures of this gorgeous moon, but the pictures kept coming out a little blurry, since my big dogs kept jumping on me. I waited for about an hour more so it would be completely night time.

For the first time in my life, I yelled out in anger to all my dogs to LEAVE ME ALONE, and quickly threw myself; belly first, on the ground to steadied myself as much as possible, and zoomed in closer to take as many pictures as I could. I’m amazed at how they came out! Look!

Here you can see the moon directly above one of my pecan trees.

Here you see it right over one of my pine trees.

An hour later, you can see the moon directly above my pecan tree again.

And here is MY own PERSONAL moon! :o)

I also took this picture of a beautiful sunset as I was driving back to El Paso from Las Cruces, New Mexico. After I took this picture, I drove off, later to be stopped by a couple of policemen for coming to a sudden stop on the side of the highway, because I had just seen oodles of the cutest cows in a field. I never realized that that when I stopped, half my car was sticking out onto the highway. What a time to do such a stupid thing, because they were right behind me! Luckily I was able to sweet talk myself out of getting a ticket, or could it have been that they saw me shaking with fear?! Damn, they were gorgeous!! :o)

And her pale fire she snatches from the sun."
