TIME TO SAY GOODBYE!

October 29, 2007 - As of today, I will make this exact TIME TO SAY GOODBYE post everyday I make a new post to my Livejournal, until November 5, 2007.

The only time I've ever deleted anyone from my LJ, is when I've been asked to delete them.

This is going to CHANGE.

I have approximately 536 MUTUAL Livejournal Friends on my FList, and will ABSOLUTELY start payging CLOSE attention as to:

1. Who NEVER, EVER, EVER and EVER leaves a comment in my Livejournal.
2. Who NEVER replies to me when I leave a comment on their Livejournal. How rude!
3. Who NEVER even bothers to thanks me after I take the time to leave my Happy Birthday wishes in their LJ. How Rude!
4. Who I like very much, but I get these SPOOKY vibes that that person doesn't like me.
5. All in all, I can now see for sure, that at least 400 people will be deleted into cyber kingdom come by me by November 5, 2007.
6. I will start hunting for about 25 BRAND NEW LJ Friends after November the 5th.
7. By and by, all of you already know that I am a gal who expresses EXACTLY what I feel about any given topic; if you DON'T like me for it, and want to beat me to the punch, then DELETE me right now! And PLEASE don’t bother telling me you have, because I’ll KNOW!

AND NOW, ON WITH THE SHOW!

I saw many little side dirt roads on the way, as I drove to Chimayo, and decided to drive through one of them. I'm glad I did, because I came to an old church (Sacred Heart Catholic Church) in the middle of nowhere, with an old cemetery across the dirt road from it.

There were many graves around, but I made the mistake of wearing sandals, and the place was covered with weeds. From afar, I spotted these 3 graves that drew my interest so much, that I didn't care if my toes got poked with the weeds, and yes, I got poked by many of them!

I've visited many cemeteries, but never had I seen anything as interesting as this:

This grave was HUGE!

Sailor Jerry Navy Rum, and it still had some; Rum that is! :o)

Never had I seen a grave like this HUMONGUS one that BLEW me away!

This is what was written on the stones around it.

What I want on my grave
I want a few strange things that would look in place like the ones you just showed.

First I want a oak tree planted over my grave. I hate the sun. My grave would be forever in the shade, no possibility of post death sunburn.

The fun thing I want is a tombstone with a ouija board carved on top. My grave is to be stocked with stones usable as the scryer for the ouija board. Carved in the top will be a place to hold a pitcher and 6 big mugs, and a 16 pizza. There will always be an indent to hold a box of ding dongs. Instructions are to be carved that I want a seance every Halloween the night before and the night of. They will need to bring a thin crust pepperoni pizza, a pitcher of strawberry daquairi, 6 mugs chilled, and a box of hostess ding dongs. If I am coming back from the dead, that will bring me back. I figure my grave will annoy the normal people, and create a cool legend.

Re: What I want on my grave
I LOVED your What I want on my grave comment, and will soon make a post about it!

Let us find out what others will someday want on their graves, too! :o)

Wow.
Just wow. Those are some impressive graves.

I'm sorry that I don't comment much, but I don't comment on many people's jounrals these days. I still read, though.

If we lived closer, I'd ask to take a photographis journey with you sometime; don't get much chance to do that with friends around here.

Re: Wow.
They are impressive, aren't they?! I've visited lots of graves, but I had never seen anything like these.

Whenever I've commented in your LJ, you always reply, and that's what's appreciated!

When I read the first sentence I was about to get worried, but when I read the qualifiers I knew I was safe.

One question though... does perpetual care include smoothing out the dirt on those graves? Those were fascinating pictures...

Daddy, I'm really tempted to go back there again, just to see how that grave will be decorated by all the deceased friends for Christmas!! :o)

There were many more graves further down, but I was afraid to venture further down, because my feet were already full of stickers! Next time I'll wear boots!

I just had a post about that... my pet peeves. I hate it when you ask someone a question and they don't respond, or if you comment and they never comment in return, or if you compliment someone and they do not show thanks. Anyway, I hope I fit the qualifications... my fellow cat lover! :oP

I know what you mean. I've noticed that I've left a comment on a few particular lj's, and the person will reply to everyone else but me. I can understand this happening a couple of times, but not all the time.

It's time I start weeding the soil, so my good little flowers florish much better! :o)

Oh yes, you will most definitely stay one!!

I'll be making a post after the 5th on the topic of LJ friends.

Thank you Sweety Pie!

In a few days, I'll finally be buying me a Canon camera! I have a couple of lj friends who own one, and the pictures are breathtaking!

As of late, I've become totally addicted to photography!

Had I gone with you, I'd have had a good laugh --which is something I'd never expect from visiting a cemetary. Thank you for opening my eyes to this.

Tig, cemeteries are the most tranquil and peaceful places on earth and the most perfect of all places to truly meditate and sooth a sometimes troubled mind. When I go to a cemetery, it becomes most apparent, that I'm the dead one, looking down on a multitude of the living.

These places are not the end, but the beginning.

I hope you keep me!

I have to be honest and say that sometimes I don't post because your links/pics etc are blocked here at work and so I don't really always get the full picture.

I've always been aware of being blocked because of my links.

There's no way in hell I'll delete you! That's for sure! :o)
