That's just a little too literal an interpretation of "phone sex" for me.....

Indeed. Although I suppose it should be taken as some sort of sign that they're a listener, rather than a talker....

Every republican who was pointing their fingers at others need to look in the mirror at the real culprit.

The President on down, all have a play in giving the Congress to the Democtrats.

and if they think that Pelosi is gonna do what she said and maintain a respectable connection to the republicans, they are only fooling themselves. The Democrats have already started playing their games.

So nothing has really changed on capital hill. Its politics as usual. Back Stabbing and finger pointing is the norm. get ready for the tax hikes to pay for the BS.

As Rodney King once said, "Why can't we all get along?"

If the Demo's and the Rep's can't get along, how can we expect the world to do so? :o(

A pipe dream? Oh my! Well then:

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep,
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

And the Dems cry when the GOP is in power...when are we ever gonna elect adults??

Says that editorial was from November. Hrm, I was hoping for something new.

So far as their whining is concerned, it's their own damned fault. What the hell did they think was going to happen when they stopped acting like conservatives? (Come to think of it, did they ever?) Their voting base didn't show up to the polls, and the moderates swung left. G'bye, Republicans, you may slam the door behind you.

hahahahahahhaa..... You know they said that they got beat because they did not act like republicans what they just don't get is they got beat because they did :o) and it looks like they still are, blaming every thing on some one else when will they learn we are a stronger country when we are standing as one. Not when pointing fingers at someone else. and Now is the time to act!

I watched different channels for their "takes" on the elections....and there was a point on FOX where two Rep Leaders said opposing things right after each other...making them look really unorganized..(kid of like Dems)

#1 "We lost this election because we are not moderate enough"

#2 "We lost this election because we are trying to be too moderate."

The Republicans are getting what they deserve. Given a shot after Democratic overreach, and elected because (to quote Bill Clinton) "the era of big government is over," they went and made government much bigger, and then did the worst thing a government can ever do: make unnecessary war.

I have nothing but contempt for the socialist filth in the modern Democratic Party, but the corporatist warmongers in the Republican Party deserve nothing but contempt, either. At this point, my most fervent hope is for federal government gridlock, with lots of Senate filibusters and presidential vetoes.
