I believe it was Law and Order (not sure because I started watching it toward the end), where this black woman walked up to a violent street gang group on the streets of her neighborhood and shot one of them dead. This woman had had one of her children, a two year old baby, shot and killed in a drive by shooting by them, two years prior. She had CONSTANTLY asked the authorities for help, but to no avail, so she had no choice but to take the matter into her own hands. She was tried for murder and the jury found her innocent.

This woman had begged for help from the law, to help get these gangs off her streets, but she had been told that there weren't enough police, due to cuts. As she stated, these cuts have caused the poor to suffer the blood shed these gangs caused poor neighborhoods.

This movie prompted me to give street gang hoods some thought. Not only are we losing the war on drugs, but the war on street gang violence here in America.

Street gangs, who are more like insurgents with sophisticated FIREARMS, than common street gangs, are growing at an alarming rate (713,000 criminal gang members - ALL with ASSAULT weapons!) and becoming more organized by the day. This fact alone, leaves me ENRAGED and in amazement at how gun control lobbyists are CONSTANTLY trying to take away the responsible, law abiding citizens our RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS! I'll bet my bottom dollar that they, as well as ALL high ranking government officials, have, and will ALWAYS have, BODY GUARDS WITH GUNS to protect them and their families in their own homes!!

I live in a pretty good neighborhood, where we have an organized neighborhood watch program with constant surveillance. I've also made my home into a fortress with 10 foot high fences, vicious dogs, and a sophisticated burglar alarm system, and of course, my GUNS, but there too many poor neighborhoods in this city who can’t afford these things, and who don’t have a neighborhood watch. By the time these families calls for help, it is too late, because the police didn’t get there in time to save that person, due to a shortage of officers!

Yes! Insurgency (urban gang violence) is a great problem in Iraq, but I do believe we've got just as big a problem, if not bigger, here at home. The State and Federal agencies are under staffed to protect us from these hoods. I believe the government should start a program to give in depth training with firearms and self-defense, and form a PRIVATE CITIZEN’S militia, with a background investigation for a meticulous reputation for its members, throughout the United States.

I NEVER tire of watching Charles Bronson hits the streets as the VIGILANTE. I slobber at the mouth, and fantasize every time I watch him blast to kingdom come, this cowardly murderous bunch of criminals who NEVER travel ALONE, but only in GROUPS of ten or more, and who instill fear and intimidation to members of communities! The movie Mad Max, about a "Road Warrior Figure," is under the genera of SCIENCE FICTION. I don't think it should. I think the plot of this movie is what this world is quickly coming to!

Why is it that WE end up in MORE trouble, than these violent gangs do, when WE try to fight them? Why do WE end up doing prison time, PLUS having to spend ALL OUR hard earned money in definding ourselves in court, just because we try to keep them, along with their disgusting drug trafficking out of our cities?

Why is it that THEY get FREE councel, and do a few years in the pen? WHY?

At the rate things are going, we just can't continue to do nothing, can we?

Why is the system so against us, when we try to fight, and sometimes KILL these murderous thugs?
