Kim Jong Il North Korean Missile Issue

Kim Jong Il
North Korean Missile Issue

The U.S. has to take some kind of action against the North Korean missile issue.

I believe the mildest action might be for surrounding nations, such as Japan, South Korea, etc., to put restrictions on their trade, but I don't believe the North Koreans would care very much about that.

The second action might be for the U.S. to try and shoot down future ballistic missiles. If the Koreans should launch another one, and the U.S. is successful in shooting it down, I feel this would be a good thing because the world would see that the missile defense system works. But on the other hand, if it were to miss the missile, it discredits the missile defense system terribly and would be a monstrous embarrassment for the U.S.

The third option, and most provocative, might be to try and destroy the missile by attacking the launching area where the missile is at. But this would be a direct attack and cause for a war for sure. It would not affect the us, but it would be a horrible situation for our soldiers. All in all, I don't believe this 3rd option would be good, because China and Russia don't want the U.S. attacking North Korea.

I find this missile thing with North Korea, a most dangerous and complicated thing.

I read in the Book of Revelation 9 :16, and would like to know if the 200,000 horsemen will be the Chinese?

Is our world doomed? Am I right or wrong in making the assumptions I have just made? Could you please give me your thoughts about this North Korea missile issue?

Do you feel Kim Jong Il is a bit off mentally? VERY dangerous?

Playgirl's Kim Jong Il Quotes:
"No faction is better or worse than any other. All come
from the same mould; they are all products of capitalist
influence in the working class movement. And they are a
poison that destroys our Party and the working class
movement in Korea."
- Kim Jong Il

"We oppose the reactionary policies of the U.S. government
but we do not oppose the American people. We want to have
many good friends in the United States."
- Kim Jong Il

"Team America: World Police"
- Kim Jong Il

"I am sure you have seen for yourselves and
sensed how the Korean people feel towards
the United States here in our country."

Oh God here we go again. Fear seems to be ruling this country. Some little nation does something and not very well at that and we are up in arms scared shitless that we will be attacked. That missile went to hell in a handbasket in the first few minutes of the launch and blew up over North Korea. We couldn't have shot it down, it wasn't up long enough. Then again had we tried we would have left the capital of South Korea in danger of a artillery barrage that could kill literally millions.

But, more important than that is that any country has the right to develop any weapons they wish as long as they do not use them to attack or threaten another nation. Our trying to be the world police has put us in great danger of becoming the world's dictator ourselves. We may not like what another country does but that doesn't mean that country doesn't have the right to do it. How would you feel if another country tried to tell us what to do? I use as an example France. France had the gall to disagree with our stance on the invasion of Iraq. The United States and it's people's reaction was to demean the french people, heckle the french government, and call french law unfair. This is how we acted to the country who gave us our Statue of Liberty. The one thing more than anything else that bothers me about the conservative movement is this tendency to believe that it is wrong for anyone to disagree. If you are not pro war you are anti American. Now that's just horse shit! I support our troops. I back them in their efforts. But I don't like war and never will. That doesn't make me anti-military nor anti-American. I love this country and military. I am just sorry that so many of our young men and women are in harm's way despite their desire to be there. That doesn't mean I'm not a patriot it means I care about the lives of our people in conflict.
