6-6-06 I'm Free At Last...Er I Think!

You kids set my mind at ease in my last post about my fear of the upcoming date 6-6-06, and am finally FREE of all superstitions!

I have solemnly sworn, to never again do these things:

1. Pinch my nose whenever I hear the siren of an ambulance.
2. Make it a point to get out of my bed on the same side I got in.
3. Huff and puff like crazy to blow out all the candles on my Birthday cake.

4. Whenever I get a chill up my spine, I won’t ever again think someone is walking over my grave. (But how could they be walking over my grave if I’m not in it yet? Duh!

5. Never again bury my fingernail cuttings.
6. I will stop looking for frogs to bring into my house.
7. I will walk right under a ladder instead of going around it.

8. Whenever I tell a LIE, I will NEVER again say:
"Cross my heart and hope to die,
cut my throat if I tell a lie!"

9. I will get rid of the oodles of mistletoe I have hanging throughout the house in hopes of being kissed by a wonderful guy!

10. Take out my rabbit’s foot from my pocket.
11. I will PARTY on 6-6-06.
12. I won’t ever plant Rosemary by my doorstep to keep witches away.

13. Whenever I accidentally spill salt, I will never again through a pinch of it over my left shoulder.

14. I will start sleeping with my head to the south and my feet to the north.
15. Never again make a wish when I see a falling star.
16. Whenever I eat watermelon, I will swallow the seeds.
17. I will stop licking my fingers and toes before I eat watermelon.

18. I will buy a lotto ticket on Friday the 13 and make sure it has the number 13 in it.

YES, I WILL SOLEMLY SWEAR NEVER TO DO ANY OF THE ABOVE AGAIN, BUT BEFORE I SWEAR, WILL YOU KIDS SET MY MIND AT EASE ONE MORE TIME AND EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING TO ME! :o(
