THE CONCLUSION - PART 5

This entry is SAPPY in a BIG way (my heartfelt feelings), but don't worry kids, after this one, I'll become my obnoxious usual self AGAIN! YAY!

The day finally came to confront the enemy.

I got up, showered and got ready to go to this most important event. That night, I had prayed with all my heart and soul to God. STRANGE HOW WE REMEMBER HIM ONLY IN TIMES OF PERIL! I begged and promised Him that if He would grant me the miracle I needed to win and become owner of the water rights, I'd make this place a paradise in His honor. I told him that I would hunt for more stray dogs to give a home to, and I'd buy a trapper to catch as many stray cats as possible and have the spayed and neutered. I promised I'd donate even more to the Humane Society. I promised many more things, but can't remember them right now.

I had to be very blunt with Him and told Him that I would still continue to have my Cam Site because it made it possible for me to feed and care for all of his animals plus provide for my Grandpa's and my creature comforts. I asked Him to forgive me for this and for my nasty temper and stubbornness, and for my SOMETIMES NAUGHTY and SOMETIMES NICE "Jekyll and Hyde" personality. I'm sure He understands that I am not PERFECT like He is, but only a mere sinful mortal!

Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.
- Frederick Douglass

Just as soon as I reached for the door to leave, my cell phone rang. It was my attorney. Excitedly and in total disbelief he told me that he had good news for me, that I had won. They agreed to give me my irrigation rights. They had one stipulation. They acknowledged no responsibility to water used prior to this time. He asked me if I would agree to the terms. I said YES, YES, YES! (The battle ended before it had even begun)

To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug.
- Hellen Keller

Want to know what miracle happened? There's no if's or what's about it, IT WAS A MIRACLE!

First of all, they had assumed I was bluffing and would eventually tire and give up and just forget the whole thing. (THEY JUST DIDN'T REALIZE THEY WERE DEALING WITH A BLOOD SUCKER LIKE ME) They assumed that I would eventually just accept being brushed off every time I asked for the copy of the certified letter they stated they'd sent me, PRIOR TO THE 30 DAYS. (THEY DIDN'T REALIZE THEY WERE DEALING WITH A GIRL THAT NEVER GIVES UP) They assumed that I didn't have a penny to piss on to go for the jugular and SUE the hell out of them. (THEY COULDN'T COMPREHEND THAT I WAS ABSOLUTELY WILLING TO GO FOR BROKE AND SELL MY HOUSE 'WHICH I'D PAID OFF WHEN I WON THE SUIT FOR MY MOMS WRONGFUL DEATH' IN ORDER TO CONTINUE FIGHTING THEM TO THE BITTER END).

This is where my miracle from God came:
The contract that they had drawn and notarized making them owners of MY water rights, WAS JUST A COPY BUT WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT WAS THAT IT WASN'T EVEN DATED!!!!

"You just need to be a flea against injustice. Enough committed fleas biting strategically can make even the biggest dog uncomfortable and transform even the biggest nation."
- Marian Wright Edelman

A couple of days later, they immediately sent me a notarized copy, stating that they had released the rights to the water and they were mine!!!

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
- Thomas Alva Edison

These 3 sheets of paper represent LIQUID GOLD for me - LIQUID LIFE in the form of water. I will replace every dead tree with a live one and I will have my paradise again. I have made a PROMISE to myself and to Him!

It's easy to be independent when you've got money. But to be independent when you haven't got a thing — that's the Lord's test."
— Mahalia Jackson

Isn't it ironic? This envelope and 3 sheets of paper probably came from one of my trees they slaughtered!

An important note to all of you:
Make it your cause in life to protect nature (PACHAMAMA - MOTHER EARTH - ANIMALS) from those who continue to destroy it because of their greed. Just take a look around, isn't it obvious that MOTHER NATURE becomes more and more angry as time goes by! Remember that saying, "It's not nice to fool MOTHER NATURE!"

Without out nature, YOU, I, and ALL THE ANIMALS OF THE WORLD will someday be just as DEAD as all those trees THEY continue to destroy!

THIS QUOTE SAYS IT ALL:
If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer. But if he spends his days as a speculator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time, he is deemed an industrious and enterprising citizen.
- Henry David Thoreau

By and by, this is NOT the conclusion for me, it's just the BEGINNING!

what a great conclusion to an unjust act. no wonder they were being so 'coy,' the contract was no valid on its face!!! you, however, were valid from day one.
the mahalia jackson quote is great. she was such a wise lady and new what 'living' was for and about. ciao!

Greetings, M'Lady!......
I am your friendly, 'neighborhood' Pagan.
Yes.
Pagan.
I do things slightly differently than some......
I 'serve' the Lord and Lady.
{It's slightly complicated. I'll explain fully later....}
I saw your gorgeous 'before' pictures and had a thought -
"I could cast Circle there and do a Working!"
Then - just a few scant moments ago -
I saw the "after" pictures.
Damn.
Oh - Bloody - Damn.
Gaea is NOT happy 'bout that.
That was a very - /ahem/ - 'sexy' garden spot.
But you won.
You won - you wonderful, wonderful girl.

I know Not what your Faith and Beliefs are.
Because of that -
I am saying this very carefully -
Would You - Could You - use a specially written
Pagan Working to do there in your garden spot?
A Working to Honour the Earth Mother.
I write Workings for my Mystress.
I work for MistressRavenfyre over on
www.Mysticwitch.com.
I can very easily write a specific Working for you.
Let me me know if that is even permitted by your Faith
and Beliefs.
I know, accept and understand that Pagan Workings are
not always accepted by some people.

I can be contacted here on Lj {in the usual way} -
or at : Paganus.Greybeard@gmail.com.

All those trees cut down and stacked up.
Nasty sight.

Poor turtle......
Poor puppy.... His tree is now no more....
Poor Playgirl to have to have lived through and dealt with all of this....

Oh, and just a thought......

I don't think the Lord and Lady would mind much at all about your website.
Afterall -
was not Aphroditie a bit of hottie?
and Pan?
He swung both ways with that pipe of his.....
Worry not, Dear Lovely Lady with the really great legs....
The Goddess does not mind.....
Now if you had ugly legs -
that might be a slightly different story......
*snort/snicker*

Take Care out there.
Stay Safe & Secure out there.
Remain Careful & Cautious out there.
Stay out of Harm's Way out there....

Blessings Be.....

The Pheonix Oasis Sanctuary shall arise from the dust
Like the pheonix of old that would arise from ashes of its own destruction, I see your oasis shall bloom again anew. Plant trees with deep roots to go below where the pump from. Cottonwoods once you start them can live even in a drought in the desert. Oaks would serve as the drink deep too. Make it so that even if the water stops again the forest will live.

Re: The Pheonix Oasis Sanctuary shall arise from the dust
If need be, I'll dig up the soil with my bare hands, to save the life of those who survived the shameful hand of man.

You somehow foresaw from the very beginning that they WOULD someday bloom again anew!

I probably took for granted their beauty because they were there when I bought this house. But now, they will mean the world to me because I suffered so much to save them! You'll probably think I've gone crazy because I've already gone and hugged each and everyone of those trees that barely survived.
Hugs my very wise friend!

I am quite sure that the trees are not only talking about you my darling, they are probably passing your name around as being one of their greatest friends and one who not only hears them, but listens as well...

I love you so much,

Congradulations. I am glad it worked out for you.

Of course, I do think you were too nice about it. If it were me, I would have nailed their balls to the wall and made them pay to return my property to the condition it was before, lawyer fees, my time and aggrevation, and make them fire the person who tried to steal the water rights.

Oh, and a pound of flesh.

I know, but I don't think I could of stood it much longer because it was starting to affect my mental and physical health.

All I wanted was for them to give me back what was rightfully mine. I knew they were lying when they had said they had sent me a certified letter 30 days prior to their actions. Not only was this about saving my trees, it was about getting justice from an entity who behave in a most unscrupulous manner.

I learned one big lesson from this and that is to always have a diary of daily events and to keep ALL important records because those who we feel are honorable, might not just be, as in my case with my water rights.

Hugs my friend!
