If you could receive all the products from a single company for free, but could not resell them, which company would you choose?

I'd choose the Cadbury company. Because I love chocolate, and Cadbury chocolate is the best chocolate in the world!

Which company would you choose, (optional) and why?

That's easy! CD Baby for me. I am a DJ and they have a huge collection of indy music the do print on demand for. As it stands now I could probably drop close to $5k immediately if I had the money.

let’s pretend ...
Someday you WILL have the money to buy all those things. I know it!

But in the meantime, let’s pretend the company gave you all those things. :o)

I'd come up with something original, but those chocolates are looking really good right now.

Death by chocolate...
I really shouldn't have put that pic up there. So darn tempting, huh?!

The most atrocious thing in life is to be crazy for chocolate, and be a diabetic! Why, oh why Lord?!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. That kind of apple? :o)

Re: doctor...

No... The other kind... :D

Oh that's a tough one... well, as you put the restriction to not resell, I'd have to pick... arr... well, I'm still allowed to give the stuff away for free, right?

Okay then. I'll go with Ibanez. I love love LOVE their guitars to death. I only have two of 'em, but there are only a few of their guitars that I've ever had a problem with. They have the only eight string guitar monster I'd want to play, and their basses are awesome, too.
Dec. 9th, 2009 02:36 am (UTC)
I KNEW you'd pick a guitar! Honestly, every time I see a guitar, I think of you!

I want a robot.
Dec. 8th, 2009 10:14 pm (UTC)
There’s a Honda robot? A robot that can do dishes, scrub and wax floors, disinfect the toilet and tub, wash window, and do laundry, iron, bath 4-legged critters, wash the car, cook, walk to a bank and rob it, beat up your worst enemy silly, and find my missing TV remote control??!!

The hell with chocolates, I want a Honda robot, too!!!

Re: robot?...
Hehe... if only, right?

Though, you could just tell the robot to switch the channel for you. :P

Re: robot?...
I've looked EVERYWHERE for that thing; even in the frig.! My brain has been doing crazy things all this year.

Oh, and I've changed my mind about the robot, also. A LJ friend said he'd pick the U.S. Mint, so I decided to pick that one instead. :o)

Dec. 9th, 2009 02:29 am (UTC)

Dec. 9th, 2009 02:31 am (UTC)

Cadbury was allowing the use of melamine in their chocolate last year...

No fucking way!
Dec. 9th, 2009 02:48 am (UTC)
I had no idea. Too bad, because I really love their chocolate. I'll never buy Cadbury chocolate again because of that melamine thingy.

Thanks for the info.

Re: melamine...
to be fair...it was their chinese facilty...
Dec. 10th, 2009 02:26 am (UTC)
Re: melamine...
I know, but I won't be able to trust Cadsbury anymore. Besides, there's lots of other chocolate companies that offer delicious chocolate.

Re: melamine...
Thanks for the link. I've bookmarked it.

My choice would be any airline. I want free air travel first class of course.
Dec. 10th, 2009 02:19 am (UTC)
First Class...
Nothing but the best for you, Sweet Pie!!
Dec. 9th, 2009 02:03 pm (UTC)
Why not something like a Lambogourni or Ferrari?

Even if you cant resell them, to have that kind of car up on blocks out in your yard makes for a new type of redneck.
Dec. 10th, 2009 02:23 am (UTC)

Those Lamborghini's sure are hot, huh? When I hit the big lotto, I'm buying me a candy apple red one!
Dec. 10th, 2009 08:27 am (UTC)
Re: Lamborghini...
I like em, but unless I won the lotto and could afford the insurance, I'd never really want one.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a car nut, but I'll take a Dodge, Ford, Ferrari, Bugati, Audi, BMW, whatever, over anything made in China or Japan... I'd rather see an American preferrably but I can handle an Italian, German, Swede, etc keep their jobs before we give any more of ours to the Chinese.
Dec. 10th, 2009 09:36 pm (UTC)
Re: Lamborghini...
I know what you mean. We ourselves have help bury ourselves in the pickle we're in now, because we didn't remain faithful to American made cars.

I'm not into cars either, and recently bought myself 2004 a second hand car, and paid cash for it. I had been saving for a long time to buy it. I only buy liability insurance, which saves me a lot of money.

I hate to admit this to you, but it's a foreign car! :o(
Dec. 11th, 2009 12:20 am (UTC)
Re: Lamborghini...
Meh.. part of my issue is if we made American cars that were worth a shit anymore. You can buy a Ford, GM, Chrystler, etc and it wont have the value, longevity, resale value, etc of something made by Honda, Kia, Toyota, etc...

Any one company?
General Foods.
Dec. 10th, 2009 02:25 am (UTC)
Re: Any one company?
Does General Food offer lobster? If so, I'll pick them instead of chocolate! :o)

Re: Any one company?
You may know them better as Kraft Inc.

Its products include snacks, such as cookies, crackers, salted snacks, and chocolate confectionery; beverages comprising coffee, aseptic juice drinks, and powdered beverages; and natural, process, and cream cheeses. The company also offers grocery, including ready-to-eat cereals, enhancers, and desserts; and convenient meals, such as frozen pizza, packaged dinners, lunch combinations, and processed meats.

It markets its packaged foods and beverages primarily under the brand names of ‘Kraft’ cheeses, dinners, and dressings; ‘Oscar Mayer’ meats; ‘Philadelphia’ cream cheese; ‘Maxwell House’ coffee; ‘Nabisco’ cookies and crackers and its ‘Oreo’ brand; and ‘Jacobs’ coffees, ‘Milka’ chocolates, and ‘LU’ biscuits, as well as under approximately 50 additional brands

Free food is not a bad deal, eh?

Re: Any one company?
I make my own cookies
I'm a tea, coffee, and Pepsi drinker (I buy Folger's Coffee)
I never buy ready to eat stuff
I make my own pizza from scratch
I make my own dressings (I'll teach you soon how to make them)
The only things I do buy from them is Philadelphia cream cheese to make cheese cake, and the All Beef Oscar Mayer wiennes (can't spell it) for sauerkraut and swiss cheese hotdogs.

Since they don't sell lobster, I'll stick with the chocolate. :o)
Dec. 11th, 2009 12:43 am (UTC)
Two things if you please. I will stick with a US company and choose Hershey, I like their better dark stuff. Then any cattle producer where I could have all the beef tenderloin I wanted. Nothing better in this world, guanteed.

Re: Best
Guess what I found out about Hershey's? Hershey's owns Cadbury's!!
