Guantamamo Bay Prisoners

P-L-E-A-S-E! Bring me your huddled terrorist prisoner masses from Guantamamo Bay, who yearn to breathe free, and for a VERY good price from the U.S. Government, I’ll take care of them for you all!

I have a big 1 and ¼ acre backyard with lots of vicious dogs, and I have lots of firearms. I also have a sparkling personality, I’m extremely diplomatic and cool, and can keep a stiff upper lip when someone either insults me, or spits in my face.

I have complete faith in our prison system, therefore, I have absolutely no problem in having the prisoners in my own backyard, so t speak.

Excuse me for second, because there’s a huge crowd of silly little Repulicans standing on my front lawn crying out for battle. Nah! Can’t be! They seem to be dangling some rediculous itty bitty tea bags in front of them, too!

On a happier note, here are some more pics I took of Nuevo León.

Eh, its not just republicans. Its the spineless Dems as well. The most recent vote in the house was 90-10 with 90 against bringing the "terrorists" here for trial.

Democrats=spineless, gutless, p.o.s.

Republicans=see above but with a few extra ingredients added in.

Could you show me the source? I've looked all over the place, but can't find it.

Well, thank goodness there are only a handful of Dem's and Rep's who are gutless.

Re: opposite
no...I was wrong...90 against closing, 6 for...

I'd love to take away all their health care benefits, especially since "government run health care programs don't work." I'd also love to freeze their salaries and reduce them, and make it so they cannot vote themselves a pay raise each year.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. Something about Gitmo, with a jab at the tea party protesters?

Message in a tea bag
Michael Steele says the Obama honeymoon is over, and he sends a ferocious message in an itty bitty tea bag. I love watching this Youtube video, 'cuz it makes me fall off my chair laughing!!!

Re: Message in a tea bag
That doesn't explain anything. I have no idea what you're trying to say in this post. There's something about Guantanamo, housing prisoners at your house, and now something about Michael Steele?

Make some damn sense!

Forrest is right in one point its not just republicans its Americans that are tired of the socialist behaviors of those in office REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATS.

My precious one, YOU told me a while back that I was one of the smartest people you know, well I am one of those you call "silly"... although I am not a republican. I counted myself among the thousands that we had in South Carolina. Maybe your opinon of me has dropped.

As for the NIMBY croud, You have never been to the middle east, I have You have never been confronted with the islamic mentality, I have.
While visiting Morocco, I and a black shipmate were sightseeing when a group of extremist confronted us and wanted to know WHY I was walking with a black? That it offended them to see a white with a black, that it was against the laws of Allah.
When I replied that he was my brother it almost started a riot, Thank God for Shore Patrol and the local Police. When this information reached back to the ship, word was passed that whites and blacks could not be seen walking together.

This was years ago when they liked our money that we spent, now they just want us dead. Your charisma and lovable attitude would do you no good with these regheads, they would cut your throat and kill your babys just as soon as look at you. Diplomacy does not work here, it never has. Check your history, the only thing they recognise is total force, and being eradicated.

Remember the Beruit USMC Barracks, Remember the USS Cole, Remember the World Trade Center!

Love you, precious!!

Re: spineless??
Daddy, I see you as a man who fought for his country with firearms, NOT a tea bag. You are among the bravest in my eyes.

As for the Guantamamo detainees being tried in our country, I was only pulling ya'll's leg! heh heh Bringing them here would give them way too many rights, and we can't have that.

Daddy, I have been to the Middle East. I've experienced where it was manditory to walk behind, NEVER in front, of our own American male soldiers, or of having to have our faces covered as to not be seen.

Re: spineless??
I humbly stand corrected...

I thought you had only been to Korea.

I have no compassion for those in Gitmo, since I was almost killed by the likes of them.

They have it better than any domestic prisoner in any state of federal prison or jail.

Re: spineless??
Isn't it very posible that there are a few at Gitmo who are innocent? I think so. I just can't forget the pics I saw with the bitch of a woman, Ms. English, pointing at their nude bodies. God only knows what more autrocities were committed against them.

It isn't a soldier's, or civilian's right to humiliate in any way, especially perversion to any human-being.

Daddy, one of my causes has been to either fly or drive to San Antonio to a prison in Kenedy to visit inmates who have me on their list. Believe me Daddy, prison life in Texas is horrific. Yes, you have the most evil of the evil there, but you also have men who made one terrible mistake, and regret it with all their heart.

It has been a long time since I've made a post about that guy who spent over 14 years in prison, and who is now temporarily living in an apartment I have in my backyard. I will give an update on him soon, and I'm seriously thinking of accepting another inmate who will be free soon.

YOu are one of the most compassionate human-beings I've encountered here. Please don't forget that there are a few in Guantamamo, and in our prisons who aren't bad at all.

Re: spineless??
Lindy Englund, you mean, and she was at Abu Ghraib, not Guantanamo Bay.

Re: spineless??
That is exactly what I am saying Prisoners in our Jails and Prisons do not have it as good as those in Gitmo.

In Gitmo, the prisoners are guaranteed 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night, they have a chef that is trained in specific dishes that the prisoners are used to eating as well as those that comply with Islamic dietary restrictions. Each is given a Koran, that must be handed to them by a guard that is wearing glives since it is against Islamic Law for an Infidel to touch the so called holy words... They are allowed to pray Uninterrupted 4 times a day, and given access to the highest paid lawyers that the ACLU and Amnisty International can find. Our own citizens are lucky if they get a public defender who even gives a damn about his client. Its NOT right!

Those that you mentioned were humiliated yes I agree... BIG DEAL! they did not go through anything any more severe that is done in any Greek Community at any college. Its good enough for Frats but not those who attempted to kill ouir troops? Im sory little one I cannot see it. They were captured IN the field Armed and fighting against our troops who are there to try and help the people realise just what freedom is.

Were those who harrassed them wrong? Yes they were but it was NOT that severe. I have a dear friend who has a son who is a guard at Gitmo, and he has told them plenty about what happens down there, and none of it is as bad as what the Media had led on to be.

Keep in mind that only 3 of them down there has been waterboarded, and they have gotten IMPORTANT information that has saved THOUSANDS and Thousands of lives in New York and Los Angeles.

Re: spineless??
With respect, it seems that at least a fair few at Gitmo aren't the droids we're looking for, if you'll pardon the expression. I had to read through both Jane Meyer's book and another guy's work on Gitmo detainees; there have been at least a couple of publicized cases where detainees were held despite not being related in any way to al Qaeda or the Taliban. The Tipton Three was one such example.

Re: spineless??
There have been a number who have been released, because they made the case that they were not associated alQueda, Taliban or any extremist groups. 1 out of 7 of the 200+ who have been released have gone back to be Terrorists.

There is no law that says enemy combatants have to be given lawyers or be released but they are. Even Obama today has reversed his stance on closing Gitmo, realising that he cannot close it or release these animals. HE even held on to the Presidents ability to hold enemy combatants or terrorists without trial or tribunal.

What do you think?
Of course not. And President Obama isn’t advocating that, either.

I do feel our government should put very tight lid on welfare by making it available only to the mentally disabled, the elderly, and the person who has always worked, but due to unforeseen circumstances finds himself out of work. There are too many people who are as healthy as a horse, but do not wish to work for their necessities. Most people in this country are people who believe in working for all their creature comforts, and working hard. There comes such pride in oneself when we buy something with money we worked hard for.

Welfare fills empty bellies, so there’s no need to work. Hunger causes amazing things, it makes us work, whether we want to or not.

By and by, there is also another type of Welfare recipient that costs the American people a fortune, and they those who have robbed their way to riches, and those who somehow have gotten away from paying their taxes. I am NOT saying all the rich are thieves, or all the wealthy don’t pay taxes. Murdoff is an example, and the list goes on and on, and then, there are oodles who have not yet been exposed from either stealing, or not paying their taxes.

Sorry, I seemed to have gotten of the track with these rantings. :o)

I'm always amazed by the replies you get, what planet do these people live on.
But hey it's America and freedom of speech if not respect for your opinions.
I'd like to thankyou for your service to our country. :)

And y'know... I love you :D

Don't really care about the Gitmo debacle since its been handled improperly from the begining. While not sympathetic at all to enemy combatants there should be due process. No one should be held prisoner because we think they may be dangerous.

This on the other hand itty bitty tea bags

Was a joint Dem, Republican and Libertarian protest over the irresponsible amount of spending our governments( Federal and State) during the past several months. Including the bills that passed before President Obama took office. The protests here in Maryland were more then half registered Democrats.

Labeling it as a Republican effort was a manipulative effort so the party blind would tune the message out before reviewing the facts. Shame it worked on so many.
