I'M BEING ROBBED INTO THE POOR HOUSE!!

I've added a sophisticated web tracker. I am shocked at the astronomical theft through bandwidth, that is being committed toward me. Bandwidth is the act of a person uploading my images, midi's and even ALL of a particular page I've created from MY own server. Sooo, everytime someone visits this creeps pages, it's costing ME money! Thanks to my brand new TRACKER, I've found 100's of THIEVES stealing not only through bandwidth, but my own graphics, also. I've noticed that MSN GROUPS and Message boards are the greatest THIEVES!

What I've been doing is re-naming most of my stuff that's being stolen. There is no way in hell that I'll be able to re-name everything, but at least I've done so with the midi's which take up an incredible amount of space.

UPDATE:
Remember Constant.com STEALING ALL MY MY WEBSITES, along with robbing me in bandwidth? Well, I sent registered letters to the Better Business Bureau in Austin, Texas and to the Attorney General. Constant.com finally took down BOTH my ~laverne and ~lhindi sites. I have the copies Constant.com sent The Attorney General and BBB in Texas, stating that they would delete the sites. They did. But, now they have put both of them back on the internet!!!

Let me explain what this is all about. Constant.com was my server. I paid Constant.com IN FULL for a whole year. Constant.com TOOK AWAY my control of my FTP to edit these pages. They are using my PERSONAL PICTURES, MY POETRY, AND ALL OF THE PAGES I CREATED. They had changed my OWN affiliate on MY OWN PICTURES and put up their affiliate to make money off of MY PICTURES. I'll have to go check to see if these thieves are still doing the same thing as they did in the past.

I will have to start ALL OVER again, and send registered letters to the BBB in Austin and The Attorney General. REMEMBER! I DID BUSINESS WITH CONSTANT.COM IN GOOD FAITH AND I PAID EVERYTHING I WAS SUPPOSED TO AND FOR THE WHOLE YEAR! What I'm trying to say here is, imagine you creating your website with maybe AOL, or some other server, and you add your poetry, pictures, personal thoughts, etc. Then one day, you find that your server has STOLEN ALL OF YOUR CREATIONS!

I have started adding my domain text on ALL OF MY CREATIONS AND PICTURES BECAUSE OF THE BIG TIME THEFT.

Let me give you an example of the way Constant.com has stolen from me and CONTINUES to steal!!! Click here HERE to see this page which I CREATED. Notice that the ADDRESS shows as dzn.com/laverne/Cumpleanos2.html What they have done to trick me into thinking that they deleted ALL OF MY 400 PAGES is that they took of the ~ on my name of laverne. PUT YOUR MOUSE ON ONE OF THE GRAPHICS, MAYBE ON THE PIECE
OF CAKE. NOW, RIGHT CLICK AND THEN CLICK ON "PROPERTIES."
See where it says ADDRESS: http://www.sexylegsplaygirl.com/food11.gif
NOTICE THAT IT SAYS http://www.sexylegsplaygirl.com
This ADDRESS is my DOMAIN for which I pay LOTS of money. CONSTANT.COM is stealing not only ALL MY CREATIONS WHICH I CREATED, BUT ALSO BANDWIDTH WHICH COST ME MORE MONEY THAN I CAN AFFORD. I MAY EVENTUALLY HAVE TO DELETE ALL OF MY DOMAIN BECAUSE I JUST WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD.

HERE IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE:
NOTICE HOW YOU CAN'T SEE ANYMORE GRAPHICS? THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT I'VE RE-NAMED THEM. NOTICE THE BIG WHITE BOX WHERE
I ADDED THE TEXT TO TRY TO SEND MY ONCE VISITORS TO MY second brand new DOMAIN: AMORPOSTALES.COM Right mouse click on a the graphics that don't show anymore and click on PROPERTIES.
AGAIN NOTICE THIS ADDRESS:
http://www.sexylegsplaygirl.com/picmombab4.jpg
http://www.sexylegsplaygirl.com/tinyhts.gif
http://www.sexylegsplaygirl.com/carol_logo3.jpg

THIS IS OUT AND OUT THEFT BY CONSTANT.COM
I have about 1000 graphics throughout the 100's of pages I created here. CAN YOU EVEN BEGIN TO SEE HOW MUCH MONEY I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY OWN DOMAIN of sexylegsplaygirl.com BECAUSE OF THE THEFT OF CONSTANT.COM?

CONSTANT.COM KNOWS THEY ARE STEALING FROM ME, BECAUSE THEY HAVE CHANGED THE MAIN PAGE WHICH ENDED IN HTML AND NOW THEY HAVE CHANGED IT TO HTM. THEY HAVE ALSO TAKEN AWAY THE ~ FROM MY NAME OF LAVERNE. They thought I wouldn't find out they have put up my sites again, but what they didn't expect was that I bought a very sophisticated TRACKER. THIS TRACKER HAS LED ME TO ALL THE OTHERS WHO ARE STEALING FROM ME THROUGH BANDWIDTH

THIS COMPANY LOCATED IN AUSTIN, TEXAS WHICH CALLS ITSELF CONSTANT.COM
I do believe CONSTANT.COM should be sent to the Guinness World Record for the BIGGEST THIEVES OF THE INTERNET!

I hope they are reading this entry of mine, so they can prepare some excuse for LYING TO THE BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL.

I found 100's more who are stealing from me, but I can't put ALL the links here. What I've found nauseating is the fact that alot of these thieves have Christian pages. What hypocrites!
Heres an example of a BITCH who not only stole my graphics through bandwidth, but also stole the WHOLE PAGE!!! Go to THIS PAGE and notice MY PICTURES IN PURPLE that says Postales Romanticos, and where you see a graphic of red lips, AND further down where you see a yellow and black box AND ALL THE GRAPHICS THAT HAVE LITTLE X'S. ALL OF THESE PAGES ARE MINE AND SHE COPIED AND PASTED TO HER SITE, MAKING HER VISITORS THINK SHE CREATED THEM. WHAT A BITCH!!
RIGHT CLICK WITH YOUR MOUSE AND again see ADDRESS:
http://www.sexylegsplaygirl.com
I have already re-named the graphic, this is why you only see an x or my pictures with my SPANISH DOMAIN. THIS IS CALLED BANDWIDTH WHICH IS STEALING MONEY!!!

Time to get Territorial
I'm pretty ignorant on how this all works. Hypothetically speaking, lets say I downloaded your pic of that chettah to my pc (which is really cool btw)and then put it on a url from my pc, would that cause you to pay for the domain?

Or, is it that the pic you have up right there(the chettah), and I post it on my page but instead of taking it from my pc, I mirror image it from your page to mine by linking it which would be me stealing your domain?

Did I spell Chettah right? That doesn't seem right.

Re: would that cause you to pay for the domain?
She pays for the domain no matter what. What she is talking about is bandwidth theft.

Your second example would be bandwidth theft. Your first example would be a copyright violation

Re: Oh!
I think it is a copyright violation also, they are stealing her pics and poems without her permission.

Make the fucksticks pay.
Unfortunately, copyright infringement is *usually* difficult to prove, unless you have a lot of drafts of your writing, sketches of your painting, etc... Not in this case, of course.

If you can show a court that any of these people have taken a total of $250 worth of bandwidth from you (or more), that's not only copyright infringement but a felony charge of grand theft (not sure about Tejas, but the borderline is $250 here), criminal trespass (as 'twas explained to me -- they are utilizing your property without your permission), and you might be able to prove aggravated theft (you asked them to cease their shit and they did not).

That's all minor... any money they collected off the website could easily be considered due in part to your services, which would mean they'd have to compensate you. Stealing your art is also a breach of contract (this is where we get into the big money), as I assume you never explicitly signed your creations into their ownership. Inadvertent sabotage is another factor, since by using your bandwidth they caused your site to function relatively poorly. It is obvious by the tone of your post that you have suffered because of this -- yet another factor.

That's all I can think of right now, but you should definitely hire an attorney. At the very least, you regain control of your server. If all goes well, you might find yourself handsomely compensated for the theft of your time, resources, and energy.

Re: Make the fucksticks pay.
This has been going on for a year and I don't think CONSTANT.COM will ever delete my site. The FACT remains that they are THIEVES. The only hope I have is to expose these thieves to the public and that the word spreads like wild fire. I want to warn potential CONSTANT.COM customers about their ruthlessly DIRTY ways of doing business. If all this exposure I've been doing through the internet will save one person from going through the hell I've had to go through because of CONSTANT.COM, then I'll be grateful. Yes, there is constant theft on the internet by strangers, BUT never have I heard of the place you decided to do FAIR business with would turn out to be the THIEVES. I WILL start all over again by writing the BBB in Austin TX and the Attorney General. I will send them the copy of the documents where CONSTANT.COM stated to them that they would delete BOTH of the sites they stole from me.

I will expose them of their trickery of changing the URL by deleting the ~ (tilde) from
laverne and lhindi and of how they changed my index page from the HTML I had, to HTM.
LISTEN TO ME PEOPLE!! If CONSTANT.COM lied to the BBB and Attorney General, then what the HELL JUSTICE can I expect.

By and by, I checked the site and found that they are STILL using MY legs to make money through the affiliate. HOW PATHETICALLY DISGUSTING YOU ARE CONSTANT.COM

Thank God I bought my own DOMAIN, IMMEDIATELY after they stole my site!!

tigron_x, the link that justgoto left is really informative about bandwidth. I'm sure after reading the link, your questions will be answered.

http-referer access
restrict access to images to requests listing your own domain as the referer. This is a popular measure, and why many graphics posted to LJ appear as broken links. This isn't foolproof, but the average browser won't fake their HTTP requests just to view your images out of their original context -- solving your bandwidth problem.

been a while since I've configured this, but, for instance:

A few words of advice...
When sending your letter to the Attorney General, put the legal terms first. Then the explanation of how the law has been broken. And only then bring in terms like "bandwidth theft".

The BBB and Attorney General's office get a lot of poorly written letters. You need to make sure your letter doesn't appear to be inventing crimes that aren't in the statute book. Concentrate on concrete terms, like "theft of services", followed by a brief summation of how the theft is occuring. The clerks reading the letters need to have the case spelled out carefully. Trust me on this.

And, yeah, you probably know this already. I would like to see you stick it to the prime offenders monetarily, in an ethical way. So I thought I'd jaw off for a bit with some well meant advice. Good luck nailing these guys.

A different graphic Idea
It occured to me that not only was rotating the graphics a good idea to foil thieves, but that there was a funny and patriot way to do it. Why not put in pics of George W. Bush, the VP, or members of the cabinet. The official portrait of the president would be particularly good to substitute for very sexy pics. Just imagine the reactions those thieving porn sites would get.

the easiest thing to do would probably be to change the pic's addy's or host them on geocities. of course could be considered theft the same way. hmm.. nevermind

CommEEnntt!!
Congratulations, playgirl! Stomp on those bandwidth thieves! How dare they. It so steams me when I see people steal bandwidth like that. And plagiarism is even worse! The creator of any work should always have full acknolegement for his/her efforts. No amount of disclaimers, warnings, and copyright notices can completely protect you, but a tracker puts the power to catch thieves in your hands. Great job!
