Kim Jong Il North Korean Missile Issue

Kim Jong Il
North Korean Missile Issue

The U.S. has to take some kind of action against the North Korean missile issue.

I believe the mildest action might be for surrounding nations, such as Japan, South Korea, etc., to put restrictions on their trade, but I don't believe the North Koreans would care very much about that.

The second action might be for the U.S. to try and shoot down future ballistic missiles. If the Koreans should launch another one, and the U.S. is successful in shooting it down, I feel this would be a good thing because the world would see that the missile defense system works. But on the other hand, if it were to miss the missile, it discredits the missile defense system terribly and would be a monstrous embarrassment for the U.S.

The third option, and most provocative, might be to try and destroy the missile by attacking the launching area where the missile is at. But this would be a direct attack and cause for a war for sure. It would not affect the us, but it would be a horrible situation for our soldiers. All in all, I don't believe this 3rd option would be good, because China and Russia don't want the U.S. attacking North Korea.

I find this missile thing with North Korea, a most dangerous and complicated thing.

I read in the Book of Revelation 9 :16, and would like to know if the 200,000 horsemen will be the Chinese?

Is our world doomed? Am I right or wrong in making the assumptions I have just made? Could you please give me your thoughts about this North Korea missile issue?

Do you feel Kim Jong Il is a bit off mentally? VERY dangerous?

Playgirl's Kim Jong Il Quotes:
"No faction is better or worse than any other. All come
from the same mould; they are all products of capitalist
influence in the working class movement. And they are a
poison that destroys our Party and the working class
movement in Korea."
- Kim Jong Il

"We oppose the reactionary policies of the U.S. government
but we do not oppose the American people. We want to have
many good friends in the United States."
- Kim Jong Il

"Team America: World Police"
- Kim Jong Il

"I am sure you have seen for yourselves and
sensed how the Korean people feel towards
the United States here in our country."
- Kim Jong Il

a kinder gentler nation would set the example to disarm instead of warmonger and dictate who can and who can't have nuclear weapons. The US, the biggest offender in nuclear weapons development, should be putting the most effort into setting the example, not dictating what others should do.

Peace., it takes an effort.

Trying to be a kinder and gentler nation would be comparable to kissing the school bully in hopes they will cease their daily beatings.

The best way for America to stay safe is to present a strong military force. If American becomes a kinder and gentler nation we will be equated by many other governments as weak and ripe for the picking.

America sits on fertile soil, vast deposits of minerals, and other vital resources. Any country would be blessed to have the assets that America has. We are thus a prize that quite a few other nations would not mind possessing. To keep our nation ours requires vigilance, and a formidable arsenal. Any presentation of weakness would most likely result in us having even more wars to defend ourselves from invaders bent on conquest.

kissing the school bully doesn't work unless you try it.

Yes, Anerica needs to be vigilant and strong but in my opinion, it has gone way beyond vigilance to meddling and has an arsenal capable of killing all higher life forms on the planet. You shouldn't shit where you sleep.

Peace, yes, it does take work... but wise work not bullying
