UPDATES: GRANDPA, DAVY THE CAT
Remember when my next door neighbor's little dog viciously attacked one of the stray kittens, and had to take him to the vet to save his little paw?
Davy is spoiled rotten! Look how he loves to relax on my bed and lick his little paws!
Here he is right after I gave him his bath. Isn't he beautiful?!
Here is a new pic of all my stray cats. You can only see 6 cats in this pic, but the 7th one is pawing at my foot! Look at my wine barrels! They're growing pillows now! I remember when I had the most beautiful flowers in them, but now, I have cats sleeping on them! I bought the pillows this past spring at the the 2nd hand store.
The reason I have these new pics here is because I took Davy to the vet today to have him fixed. Tomorrow in the morning, he will have his little operation and I will pick him up on Thursday. He's been taking off on me 'cause he's in heat. So, no more Tom Cattin' for Davy! YAY!
This will be the 5th cat I've had spayed or neutered. I just need 3 more. Remember that one of the females took off right after I had her fixed, and never saw her again. I'm starting to suspect that maybe she belonged to someone.
Grandpa had his operation early in the morning yesterday. I stayed with him all day, and spent the night in a little cot, right next to his bed, making sure they took very good care of him. He's doing fine, but in a lot of pain. I'll go see him tomorrow to see how he's doing. I've been told that I can bring him home on Thursday. I'm just a little worried as to how I'll manage getting him back into the U.S. He will be very weak, but I WILL find a way! I'll let you know when we're both back home for good!
Looks like Thursday will be pick-up day for bpth Cat and Grandpa. Oh my!

Cute kittens and cats. My dog, Molly, adopted a kitten last summer. We thought he was a she until he grew balls. lol I had him neutered last summer. Since then he's managed to work his way from stray, abused neighbors cat, to sleeping at the foot of my bed every night. Not a bad gig, huh?
He doesn't even seem to mind that I'm not a cat person. *rolls eyes at self n laughs*
I'm so happy that you love animals, and Molly sure is a clever and loving little dog to have adopted that kitten!
Poor Davy, he still can't figure out what happened to him! But, it will keep him safe and he won't be responsible for bringing more unwanted kittens to suffer.

It's a very warm and generous thing you're doing with the stray cats. Lord only knows, they needed someone like you in my old neighborhood. We had a bad case of stray cats gone feral.
Tonight, Kitty was out kicking cat butt. *frowns at Kitty* He seems to have a sixth sense if *any* cat comes any where near his home, he's out the door and chasing them off! Granted, I'm glad he's protective of his home, I just don't like him out fighting. Since he comes and goes freely, I never know if he's out to just play or a cat fight outing until I hear that yowl and wail. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often. He's way spoiled! He's the only cat in my gated community that is allowed to freely be outside.(cats are not permitted out doors here) The manager *admires* Kitty's butt kicking attitude about her complex! LOL She also know's that my dog adopted him. She's a very spiritual woman and feels Kitty is a special cat.
